Respecting oneself enough to ensure the prevention of harm to the body and mind, united with the combined inclination of many to hold each other in deserved high esteem, contributes to a harmonious society and peaceful existence. While the specificities of the definition vary from person to person, the fundamentals of respect remain the same.
