The system is therefore used to capture details of the patients, employees, suppliers and the inventory of the drugs and products.
Therefore this report covers various aspects of the system that includes the system Acquisition’s Strategies, Architecture Designs, Hardware’s and Software’s specifications, interfaces Designs, interface’s structural diagrams, user interfaces flow, wireframes diagrams, programs designs, structures charts, and program’s specifications.
Due to the challenges of the use of manual system by the hospital management the management team had decided to acquire a new system and below is the acquisition strategy of the proposed hospital management system.
Strategies |
Description |
Acquisitions Life-Cycle Model. |
It is a model that will be used to acquire the hospital system where are system features will be implemented. The development team had therefore opted to use the waterfall acquisition lifecycle model. |
Business Consideration |
This is process of describing the business strategy and constraints, gathering information of competitors, the collaboration, regulation and statutory, solicitation and selection of the system supplier. Therefore in this case system will be developed by the in house team and any item required will be supplied in competitive basis. |
Applicable Best Practices |
This is the identification of the applications and software to be used and also the identification of the acquisition best practice, reviewing of best practices. In this case the team will used best practices to manage the system’s functional requirement, program’s plan, supplier’s monitoring, and risk’s management. |
Requirements Managements |
This is selection of the approach to elicit, refine, control, and resolve the conflict that relates to proposed system requirements. The project team therefore will easily identify system’s requirement tool, expected structure, content and specified rules for the entire system’s requirements. |
Tests and Evaluations |
This involves the strategies used to evaluate and test that are integrated with a number of activities in the system acquiring life cycle. The selected tests and evaluations include the gathering risks information, providing the empirical data, determining the system operations that are effective, suitable, and survivable against any arising threat. |
Risks Managements |
This is the process of establishing the risk management methods which enable the team to achieve the program’s goals and objectives where they stick to the set performance, cost, and constraints it also identifies the risk, analyze risk, identify mitigations plan, and implementing the mitigation plan and track which can be integrated with system’s engineering and programs management together with its acquisition and operations processes. |
