As the manager of the organization, I formed the group of different people that helped in order to learn both the concepts and principles of the context of organizational behavior. Our group was formed on the first day of the class including total 4 group members Mir, Dan, Andy and Mike, who had joined our group on the next day of the formation of the group. First, all the members are new to each other and did not know one of them. After some days, all members of the group became friend with each other and became more cooperative towards each other. Moreover, from the beginning of the group discussion, both the different and complementary personalities of the group members helped to balance the team in the proper way. Apart from this, throughout the full semester did the analysis of four case studies that mainly helped to present the case study to the class.
Our first discussions about the context mainly start from the Sunday Morning in the Library. As it was started from Sunday, get fatigued from the Saturday night outings and enjoyment with the friends, we got started in the very slow manner. After that, we switched the place to a local coffee shop, where we started our group discussion about the context of the case study. After gone through the whole case we started to discuss the context of the case. Moreover, I had gone through all the required outline of the important paper of the case study, and all the group members provided their concepts, thoughts based on their opinions and the textbook also. As all the members did their active participation to provide different thoughts and opinions to add different information to other’s thoughts. Then, our second meeting occurred in the Library to create the class presentations that were required to do the discussion of the case study. In order to prepare the presentation at first, we form different slides that mainly included all the description of the case study in the brief manner. Moreover, we divided all the slides of the presentation among ourselves. However, after the division of slides we also did the synchronization of the full presentation and by maintaining this schedule. Furthermore, after the preparation of the presentation based on the case study, we did numerous times of rehearsing so that it became perfect. However, in the presentation day, Mike got ill and needed immediate serious medical attention. Moreover, we were on the second in the whole presentation program of MBA that was quite early on the semester. Moreover, we did not have any clue what to do and were still trying to find the way to cover up the presentation. After that, I completed the portion of the Mike in the presentation, but various kind of difficulties occurred, as we are not at all prepared for his part.
After all these, succeeding group discussion took place at my home, where we discussed the matter of the case study based on each discussion point of the paper. Moreover, in order to discuss the case study the choosing of my home is one of the good discussion as the usage time of library room was limited, so we were kicked out from the library. Therefore, my home provided a quiet and more preferable atmosphere where could stretch out our conversation depending on our needed time. Moreover, we also arranged both the drinks and food that mainly became a perfect setting for the group discussion. Apart from this, our discussion point mainly included various problems that were faced in the case study, both the causes and symptoms of the problems, various alternative solutions, and selection of one important solution, analysis of both cost and benefits. Moreover, our discussions also include the effective implementation of the suggestions.
Apart from this, our analysis of discussion includes ten pages in each. However, after the every meeting we became more efficient and effective. Moreover, we did the better nature of the preparation and required less time to know what was mainly needed to do the proper analysis of the case study. Therefore, the effectiveness of our organization was also increased by the proper implementation of efficiency that was mainly evidenced by the grades of the semester. Furthermore, the grades that mainly occurred from the group that was mainly interpreted to succeed both the understanding and the application of concepts of the course.
If we had an organization
In order to describe the context of an organization, our mission was to learn both the competitive advantages and principles based on the study of the organizational behavior. Moreover, we also employed the division of labor where we had all the team members, leaders and I and then we divided the full work among all of us. Both the division and mission also helped to build the organization. Moreover, the strategic goals of the organization were to get succeed in all the course of actions. Moreover, all the success definition helped to retain information, meeting all the professors’ requirements and the applying of lessons based on the life events. Apart from this, all the functional objectives divided the assignment in the according manner that also included the learning of all materials in a group by doing the completion of all papers, discussions and edit the assignments paper based on the highest standards. Moreover, it also included the reviewing techniques of all outcomes of the discussions.
Managerial role
One of the team members including me held the interpersonal criteria of roles, informational role, and the decisional role and acted in order to support the respective roles. For instance, I often start the conversations about our classes and the group nature of MBA outings. Apart from this, my role of work as decisional manager was to guide various group meetings, pose various questions, proper guidance of the discussions to all the group members that motivate the discussions and suggests paper selections to different team members.
Diversity
In the context of diversity, all the team members needed to work in the every field of the works of the organization based on the organizational behaviors and rituals. Moreover, our group was also benefitted with the various gender diversity, cultural diversity, and the personality diversity. Furthermore, having the strong nature of members of the team helped to gain the greater range of balance.
Leadership
In order to discuss about the leadership, we displayed different characteristics that mainly include outgoing, intelligent, understanding, aggressive, articulate and decisive in nature. Moreover, I was in aggressive in nature in order to complete all the tasks and to become decisive in order to make calls. In addition, I was more determined and industrious in my nature.
Decision-making
In order to act as the group, we did not use any creative nature of tactics in the terms of making decisions. Moreover, we were stuck to various natural inclinations that mainly helped in order to discuss the context of the case study, write the sections and did the nomination of the editor. Furthermore, the short deadlines often caused to look for both the quick and short nature of solutions.
Motivation
In order to discuss about motivation, the group showed the high extent of energy or motivation that mainly used to devote to the tasks. Moreover, by doing the application of expectancy theory, it becomes easy to demonstrate expectancies, instrumentality, and valence. Based on the motivation theory, all the group members preferred A grade on the paper that is mainly the concepts of Valance. On the other side, it also believed that if we become dedicated in order to put all efforts, time and also to edit the working manner, it helped in order to success and learning. Moreover, this also evidenced by the group members who were willing to meet all the analysis that were mainly completed to begin the next part of the work.
Role relationships and interdependence
In order to analysis of various OB concepts, the comprehensive nature of interdependence describes the nature of team interdependence. However, we been relied on the entire team member in order to provide the various nature of input and thoughts. Moreover, it also discussed about the complete nature of the assignments, editing of the assignments and helped in order to gather all the results outcomes of the analysis. Moreover, as the role of the decision manager was to direct various group meetings, performing different questions and answer sections, guided different course of actions that mainly helped in order to stimulate various discussions and suggested various paper sections for all the team members.
Stress and satisfaction
In the terms of discussing various OB concepts, it mainly describes about all the group members they got satisfied with the team level of outcomes and the level of productions. Moreover, the stress levels become low at the time of doing various group activities. Apart from this, it discussed about the complex nature of group tasks but not in the way so that it mainly included the causing reason of stress. Furthermore, the stress factors mainly originated from both the feelings and time from the curriculum of MBA program as the whole. In the context of stress and satisfaction, the group tasks became complex in nature, but not in the manner that caused the range of stress levels.
Group development and dynamics
In order to do the development as well as various dynamics of group, the team members shared various rules and norms by both the classes and university. Moreover, we also shared various common natures of norms that were the mainly acceptable social nature of behaviors and the nature of the expectation of behaviors. Apart from this, in order to complete the task, all the team members shared various rules set that were determined by the university and the classes. We also pursued the same nature of goals that mainly acceptable by the social behavior and the expectation of the behaviors. Furthermore, we reward same nature of the goals by working together depending on the different sections of the same presentation and same papers.
Development of group skills in doing the problem solving, decision-making, and communication
In the terms of doing the description of various group skills, it included various natures of communication methods that mainly discussed about phoning, texting, emailing and various nature of in-person communication. Moreover, in whole over the semester we also experienced various natures of problems.
In order to discuss about both the feelings and perception of group members that mainly helped to influence my behavior, it became clear by doing the active participation and demeanor of all the group members. Moreover, this also guided to feel more comfortable and relaxed to work in own group. However, this was the first time I mainly encountered all the group members so that I could rely upon that. Furthermore, it also allowed in order to enjoy and relaxed various group environment.
Moreover, I also completed numbers of group projects that mainly discussed about the friendly, hardworking, efficient and sociable nature of all the team members. I also have completed numbers of group projects. Moreover, some of the group projects were spanning four months, terms papers and various hundreds of pages of business reports. Moreover, I as one of the group members became extremely happy with the full team.
Apart from this, it became hard in nature to let other relay and control on them that mainly helped to achieve high standard. Moreover, I never had problems with numbers of group members that did not take part in any of the meetings of the team, not completed the assignments on the time and not maintain high quality and the standard levels of this case study. Therefore, I became familiarized in order to complete this group assignment from the starting days. From the context of initial group meetings, the super dynamics nature of the group members became more evident in nature. Moreover, it became obvious at the time of dealing with the help of the high range of intelligence and the group of different motivated people.
By considering all the better qualities of the organizational behaviors and successes, as one group is not in the surprising nature. Based on the overall discussion as one of the team member I felt that I learned lot of things of the course and this course discusses about the greater range of time in order to accomplish career path. Moreover, working with this group was became one of the integral parts of the various course teachings. Apart from this, I would consider it as an opportunity in order to work with this particular group again. Therefore, I also performed leadership roles in the organizations in the future life, this practices also taught me based on the greater extent.
