 The organization operating cost includes the fixed cost, utility cost as well as the payable to the employees. Different employees work for the store on different days only Carolyn works for every week days. Here, it can be stated that, in order to calculate the cost for Carolyn, the five working days are considered as weekdays as standard.

The above table depicts that, the total cost for the garment Hideout business to operate its business is $232,648.

In order to find out the frequency of the specific range of the values for which most of the garments are ordered.    For the customers the materials for the garments are from which they can choose are given by cotton, tweed, silk, wool and leather. Furthermore, available sizes for the garments are M, L, XXL, S, XS and XL

 From the investigation of given excel file which includes past quote and sales value of the different orders placed by the customers, the minimum and maximum quotation value for any ordered garment is $34 and $780.7.  Furthermore, from the perspective of manufacturing cost minimum and maximum value from the data set is $16.3 and $150.3.

Using the formulas and tools in excel the following frequency table   is obtained.

From the above table, it can be easily stated that, most of the garments are quoted between the range $30-100.

Now for the following chart provides, the trend of the quote prices in between different ranges.

 From the above table it can be easily interpreted, that most number are quotes are for the price range 30-100 and least number of quotes for the price range is provided by 520-590 quote value range.

 In the next chart the total quote value for the different dates in the given data set are compared.

From the above bar chart it can be stated that, the maximum amount of the quote values is placed on Wednesdays.  According to the provided information about the employees, Alexa and Carolyn works on the Wednesdays. Therefore, they are employees who provided maximum amount of quote value for the Hide out garment.

 In order to make the quoting process easier as well as automated for the organization to save time the following table is created in the accompanied excel spreadsheet.  The employees can select the material and size of the garment as per the requirement of the customer by clicking on the cells that are right beside the grey marked cells as shown in the following table.

 In the creation of spread sheet, it sis found that for the material SILK, any combination of size is highly priced compared to any other material.  The

For Garment Hide out the   it is important to enhance and synchronize the manufacturing and sales process for their products in order to make the business profitable and avoid loss of resources.  In order to start the manufacturing of an ordered garment two factors are most important to consider. These are popularity of product and availability of the garment in the inventory.

As for a popular garment product, that can be sold to the another customer if that is not picked by customer (The particular customer who placed the order for the garment).    In this way Garment Hideout can prevent loss of assets and gain revenue from the product and make the business profitable.  Ow in case   of un-popular garments and their manufacturing lead to the loss the assets for the organization if that is not picked by the customer who placed order for it.  Therefore, in case of unpopular garments manufacturing process should   be started only if   the item is not in stock. This logic is implemented in the accompanied spread sheet on the sheet named “Task 4”
