Health and Human Service Management (HHSM) is a set of activities that includes a wide variety of health and welfare services. The health and human services define a clear understanding of the working process of human systems, identification of healthcare issues, the ability to identify the probable interventions processes, several barriers and limitations of an intervention process and mitigating the barriers with effective communication, leadership and empathy. The study will unfold the importance of health and human service management in the sports arena. Basketball is a game which involves body contact and injury prone game. Thus, the role of the team manager is to prevent his players from getting injured andtake early actions in case of serious injuries. The ethical duty of the sports manager will be analyzed here using its rationality with the HHSM framework. The values and beliefs of the manager in the basketball team will be analyzed by assessing the issues like injuries. The impact of the lack of information will be analyzed in the study to strengthen the analysis. Trail and error theory and Expectancy theory will be analyzed to resolve the health issues in Basketball. The concluding part of the study will summarize the whole analysis and refer to the development of HHSM.
The HHSM is generally developed to manage the health issues and the intervention process of various activities (Spitzmueller, 2018). Basketball is a widely known body contact game in Canada. This is an injury prone game. Ankle sprains, jammed fingers, knee injuries, deep thigh bruising and stress fractures are the most common injuries in basketball. Thus, the task of the manager is to take rapid care of the injured player in order to make him fit to play matches. The HHS management is required here to provide acute care to the injured player (Martins, Isouard& Freshman, 2017). Quick dressing, medicines and painkillers are provided to the injured players. In case of major injury, the players are transferred to the local hospitals for several medical tests and further treatment. Thus, in the basketball game, the effective utilization of HHSM is necessary to understand the system of the injury, to analyze the injury process, to provide intervention for the injury and to build effective communication for the post-intervention care (Martins, Isouard& Freshman, 2017).
The personal values and beliefs are healthcare determinants of the HHSM. . A sports manager’s duty is to inculcate healthy competition habits within the players(Weel-Baumgarten, 2018). The sports manager has to depend on the information provided by the injured player about the accident. Other than that, the emergency doctor can also provide adequate information about the issue after the preliminary examination of the patient.
Proper case debriefing strategy under the HHSM framework must be implemented to keep the basketball players free from stress. Often the physical injuries affect the mental health. Effective case debriefing strategy should be the best option to keep them stress-free.
The manager of the basketball team must enhance the fitness capability of the players. The manager is the ultimate person who can take responsibility of the player to reduce their fitness barrier andenhance their on-field performance.
In order to satisfy the healthcare needs and betterment of the basketball player injury assessment, intervention and after intervention communication is the handiest learning process. Both the verbal and non-verbal communication strategy must be implemented for an effective outcome.

The manager should focus ultimate concern of the team by providing indiscriminate healthcare interventions for an ethical outcome.
