Dsicuss about the Method and apparatus to facilitate development.
In order to run the entire process of business in the market every organization has to follow a proper culture, ethics, values and beliefs. Providing effective services to the customers along with maintaining the quality of products is the primary mission of every organization. In addition, effective business culture implies that employees from different cultural backgrounds and attitudes should be treated with equal respect and dignity (Zur Muehlen and Recker 2013). As a result, employees would like to give their best endeavor towards services.
This very specific study has focused to make an in-depth overview about the impact of organizational culture on overall process of business. As per the case scenario, it is observed that Jason is facing several challenges in running entire process of business due to issues facing at supply chain problem of grocery business (Laguna and Marklund 2013). This individual runs grocery shop, which primarily sells vegetables and fruits to the customers. The farmer’s market is the primary supplier of Jason from where the fruits and vegetables are collected.
Due to some of the major issues related to their organizational culture, the business expert is facing innumerable difficulties in maintaining an effective balance between supply and demands. Due to the lack of communication among employees, Jason fails to receive the product within proper time (Abramowicz et al. 2012). The delivery person delivers the services being late. In addition, the product quality that Jason gets from the delivery guy is not very effective. As a result, the organization is facing innumerable challenges in maintaining their business sustainability.
Business process layer primarily includes the entire flow of business based on which the organization is synchronized. Business process layer is constituted with three major ways product process layer, service layer and consumers’ layers (Weske 2012). From receiving raw material to the supplying the products towards customers is an entire process which is named as product process layer. The product manager in this very specific part has to control the entire system supply chain. In this very specific case study, it has been observed that the farmer is not providing quality product to Jason.
As a result, the success of business organization is entirely dependent on the service process layer. Service process layer implies on how customer service professionals maintain an effective balance between supply and demand. Due to the late delivery of products, Jason has to face innumerable difficulties in delivering fruits and vegetables to the customers to proper time. In this kind of situation, both the customers and the service providers would have to face immense challenges in maintaining business image and reputation (Meyer, Ruppen and Magerkurth 2013). In the case scenario, it is observed that Jason is not able to maintain an effective communication with the stakeholders due to communication barrier.
As a result, an immense gap is created while receiving the services from delivery person. On the other hand, customer service process layer implies that the business experts should maintain an effective control between inbound and outbound of the products. The inbound of the products should be designed systematically (Li et al. 2014). As a result, the customers would not have to wait for a long time in order to receive the services. In the case scenario, it is observed that the business experts cannot maintain the effective flow of supply chain process. It is observed that due to the limited space in storeroom the business experts cannot stock the old material for a long time. As a result, by compromising with the price level of product Jason has to sell stocked materials. On the other hand, after receiving low quality of product Jason has faced immense difficulties and challenges in satisfying the needs and demands of the customers.
The process followed by Jason regarding products and services is not very systematic and well organized. The materials that are required are listed out first. Jason likes to arrange the entire list needed for running business (Stavrou et al. 2014). After that Jason places the order from farmer market. At the same time, he starts to clean up the shelves where the order will be stocked. At that very specific time, shelves are already packed up with old materials. After the delivery person delivers the order on the very next day, Jason collects the receipt. Based on the receipt collected form delivery person the business expert checks the order and makes the payment. After that, Jason keeps the entire material in the store-room. In order to organize the new fruits and vegetables Then, Jason takes out the old stock from the shelves and fills in new stock at the back (Berg et al. 2014). After that, Jason places the old stock in the front to release as soon as possible. By following that particular process, Jason sells old materials first.
After evaluating the entire flow of work regarding the supply chain process of products as well as services it can be stated that the organization is not ethically correct in their entire business process, which may result an extreme negative impression on the mind of customers. While evaluating the entire business process it has been observed that there is no communication between supplier and businessperson (Berg and Kilambi 2014). As a result, customers have to wait immensely before receiving the services. the case scenario has also described that the business expert sometimes forget to order necessary products which is needed to maintain effective business flow and fulfill customers demand. In this kind of situation, it is observed that Jason fails to satisfy needs and demands of the customers. This kind of irresponsibility is due to unprofessionalism as well as lack of proper training and experience (Rodríguez et al. 2012). Due to the lack of communication delivery person delivers wrong quantities of wrong groceries. As a result, it creates an immense negative impact on the overall image of the organization.
Business process architecture is the blueprint of an entire hierarchy of organization that provides overall view about the aims and objectives of company along with its strategic goals and objectives (Brucker et al. 2012). Business process architecture is primarily formed for organizing enterprise strategy based on the hierarchy. It is an interdisciplinary practice that defines what the business organization does for reaching business specific goal. Business process architecture is primarily design to analyze the competitive advantages of the organization along with highlighting strengths and weakness of the organization.
Jason while making the Business process architecture has defined that business organization should primarily focus on three most important elements that include stakeholders, product and services and organizational resources. However, in order to design a business architecture process effectively it can be stated that value streams, rules, and regulations are two more important factors based on which success of a business organization is highly dependent. In order to run the entire process of business in the market, business experts have to focus on following appropriate rules and regulations (Brucker et al. 2012). Implementation of health and safety act, right to information act, anti-discrimination act, gender equality act are the most prominent regulations that every business experts have to follow.
It has been observed however that Jason does not bother to implement these particular acts and regulations at their workplace. Employees after facing health issues at the workplace may have to face difficulties in getting released from the organization. As a result, they have showed their level of dissatisfaction in performing well towards the services. In addition, the implementation of value stream is also not followed within the service process of Jashon’s business process (Nowak et al. 2012). Jashon after receiving low quality product from the suppliers does not hesitate to deliver it to the customers, which is against organizational culture and ethics. On the other hand, Jashon after receiving services after deadline from the delivery boy did not receive any kind of complaint.
The existing business strategy that Jashon likes to follow within the services includes quick delivery of products and services, following low cost product strategy and maintaining effective relation with the suppliers. As per the business strategy of Jashon, it is undeniable that customers are the primary sources of earning revenue growth (Rebuge and Ferreira 2012). Therefore, the business experts should fulfill the needs and demands of the customers. In order to satisfy customers demands of the customer Jason has focused to follow low cost price strategy.
As a result, people belonging to average income status can easily draw the attention of customers. The organization would be able to increase the number of target group. Moreover, it has been observed that business strategy of Jashon enables to follow an effective relation with the supplies. By maintaining an effective relation with the suppliers, Jashon would be able to gather products in low price cost (Van der Aalst 2013). As a result, the organizational profitability level would be raised. However, after evaluating the existing strategies of Jashon, it can be stated that the business experts need to render more improvement on their products and services.
While evaluating business process and business strategies it has been observed that Jashon should render immense improvement on the overall process of business. Based on the entire study, some of the recommendations can be provided:
Jashon would have to maintain effective communication with the stakeholders so that the entire process of business can be controlled. Business experts should keep contact with the suppliers for getting delivery of services within proper time. On the other hand, customers should be given effective feedback regarding the delivery of products for satisfying their needs and demands.
As per the case scenario, it is identified that Jashon is not maintaining quality of products to fulfill customers’ demands. By reducing the product cost, the service providers are delivering low quality of products. In this kind of situation, the business experts are facing difficulties in maintaining business image and reputation (Wong and Young 2014). Therefore, it can be recommended that Jashon should focus on maintaining the quality of products so that customers can show their satisfaction level in using services.
Jashon should keep constant contact with the delivery person so that the individual reaches at proper time. Making the customers wait is not method of gaining organizational success. In addition, customers would like to show their reluctant attitude in using the products from this organization (Rebuge and Ferreira 2012). Therefore, it can be recommended that suppliers should deliver the entire services within proper time so that the business experts can maintain effective balance between supply and demands. As a result, the entire both the organization and customers would get equal benefits and facilities.
It has been analyzed that Jashon is not following proper regulations and acts at their workplace. In order to maintain business sustainability Jahson should follow appropriate regulations at the workplace (Nowak et al. 2012). These include health and safety act, right to information act, anti-discrimination act, gender equality act and so on.
However, as per the business scenario provided in this very specific study some of the major key issues have been identified that has affected the entire process of business. The key issues are as follows:
