In this case several quality standards can be applicable to judge the quality of the products or services the asset owner is getting from the outcome.

The program and portfolio management is an important aspect of any project as it ensures that the project will be delivered according to the plan. The need for portfolio management is important for asset rich organizations as its helps in easier management.

The main difference between the quality assurance and the quality control is that the quality assurance is process oriented and quality control is product oriented (Ruggiano, Foresti& Carvalho,2014). The quality assurance gives the assurance of the quality of the product. On the other hand quality control maintains the standard of the quality of the products or services.

It is essential for the organization to ensure accurate quality of the product that is to be delivered. Quality assurance in  projects are essential as it helps in ensuring that the projects will be delivered according to the set standard.

It is essential to have a specialized team for quality assurance since it will ensure that the correct quality standards are used in the project. The work of the quality assurance team is to ensure that a particular project is delivered according to the demands of the customers and to the satisfaction of the customer.

The control of the quality is maintained by the organization itself. The organization is responsible for maintain the quality and standards of the services or the products provided by the company. The improvisation of the quality of the product is also done by the company if it is necessary.

Followed by an accurate quality check, the project team might need to improvise their product.

The contracts involved maintenance of the quality and the assurance regarding the standard of the quality (Mestdagh et al.,2014). The inclusion of the quality control is part of the contract and the quality control is part of different part of the contract. The main reason is that the quality control is product oriented and quality assurance is service or process oriented.
