1.       Review using clear terminology the key areas and processes of project, program and portfolio management practices as applies to asset rich organisations.

Document management includes proper documentation of the requirements along with the functionality of the system of the project. Proper management of the documentation will reduce the chances of the scope creep in the development of the project (Volkov et al.,2015). Management of the document can be done through the usage of different database tools. The choosing of the database for managing the documents is dependent on the type of the document and the project.

2.       Discuss the relevance of tools and techniques for investigating and describing project process related to developing new workings, facilities, equipment, plant and processes for justifying, designing, developing, or maintaining existing facilities and equipment within the context of their technological and asset lifecycle status.

The governance of the project includes the evaluation of the performance of the project. The main objective of the governance of the project is that to check if tall the modules of the project is working in the right manner. There are certain processes for the governance of the project. Project governance also evaluates the flow of information in the process. It ensures the accountability and the ownership of the project along with asset ownership and service ownership.

3.       Present and interpret major processes that are based on sound policy, information, and research that enable project justification, tenders, contracts, and selection criteria to occur in an asset rich organisation.

The management of document and the project governance are not same (Joslin & Müller,2015). The governance of the project is an important stage for managing the project in  a proper way. On the other hand documentation of the project is a part of the development of the project.

4.       Critically analyse management strategies and operational activities from a broad perspective to ensure safety and quality, to avoid overruns or rework, to manage variations and claims, and to make decisions to discontinue or close projects.

The large assets owner should be interested in the management of the documentation or the project governance (Volkov et al.,2015). These two will help the asset owner to manager the resources or the assets in a proper way. Apart from that the accountability of the assets can be measured from the documents. Apart from that the governance of the assets will mitigate the wastage of resources.

5.       Demonstrate an effective, professional level of teamwork and communication and support collaborative peer group learning.

It can be said from the above discussion that both the management of the documents and the governance of the project is important for the better management of the process. Both the processes are different however inter related with each other (Ossai, 2017). Both the processes are important for the management of the large assets as these two help to enhance the accountability of the assets along with the better management. These also help to mitigate the wastage of resources.
