Nowadays, a large number of businesses are getting completely immersed in upgrading their communication systems by involving the networking elements. This means that, most of the businesses are actually using the telecommunication systems to carry the communication operations of their businesses. Through his, most of the business employees get the opportunity to share information with each other and especially with their managers or the top management teams. In addition to that, through the use of networking elements, every business is certainly able to manage its operations especially in regard with telecommunications services. However, to achieve this objective, a business has to undergo different challenges and consider certain aspects of communication systems development and usage. Some of the issues include, the cost, effectiveness and efficiency, reliability of the systems, relevance as well as the availability of work force, skills and expertise to name a few things to consider.
In that case, in this research paper, we will be dealing with two organizations that were discussed in the second report, i.e. the University and the Software development business organization. Apparently these two business organizations have different needs and therefore require different communication systems and networking elements to be able to achieve their objective of ensuring effective communication in the work place. This shows that businesses need to choose their communication and network elements according to their industries, needs, customers, users, size among other things. Therefore, with that in mind, this research paper will give a clear understanding of what is to be considered before a business chooses a communication systems and what should be done to make them effective and efficient. Additionally, it will give a discussion of what network technologies a business can adopt and the influence the change will cause to the management structure and technique. However, the research paper concentrate mostly on just these two types businesses as its reference aspects. Nevertheless, the information will be discussed in general terms then use the businesses as an example.
The two business are completely different and from different industries and therefore, the communication systems needed by each are completely different. In addition to that, they both need the systems because of different objectives and goals and therefore giving them the reason to acquire the systems differently as well. For instance, the University is business enterprise that deals with students and its main objective is to be able to provide the best education systems or knowledge possible. On the other hand, the software development organization deals with clients who needs software help or software system installation. This shows that apart from the difference in business industries, the two organizations have different clients or users and therefore their needs will have to vary. Therefore, in that case, this research will be able to provide the information needed for both businesses to upgrade their communication systems from their current ones to better levels. Also, it will provide ways in which the two organizations will manage the new systems and the benefits that will accrue to their usage compared to their current communication processes and systems.
Typically, this is an academic institution that is responsible for education and knowledge provision. Therefore, it deals with clients who are students but also manages the employee work force. Therefore, this means that the University has to consider the fact that its communication systems users are both the students and the employees who include the lectures, librarians, social advisors, academic motivators, parents and guardians, school administrators and the school board of directors among others. Therefore, in that case, it has to improve its communication systems to systems that can be used by every possible user in the institution. The following are some of the network technologies that the University can adopt to be able to improve its communication systems and network management.

Usually, it has a two connecting devices which help two parties get connected and receive information from each other even when they are miles apart. They can be installed in an organization to help transfer information between devices like computers or to help people pass information. In that case, the university can install these type of technological systems to help it ease and fasten its communication process. For instance, the communication between online students or students from different states can communicate easily through skype or internet very easily with the help of such a system. This means that the system will enable the lecture carry out his operations even when not available.

It is a software that helps people communicate with each other via video calls, messaging and audio calls among others. This software has become a major part of the technological advancement. This is simply because it is the software that holds all the social networks together and helps run them (Nunes et al, 2014). Therefore, no individual or business can access any of them without access to internet. Additionally, it has become a major aspect of most businesses communication process. Through internet, many businesses are able to share information with other businesses, their customers, competitors, employees, financiers, advisors, investors to name just but a few. For instance, the University in question has a large number of employees and students to cater for and share information with. The internet can be used by students when applying for courses especially from different states, potential employees applying for jobs in the university, lecturers from other states can deliver lectures online with the help of internet, the university can advertise job or student vacancies to the public with the help of the internet to name a few uses. Therefore, it is clear that the university can improve its general operations by installing the internet software.
A firewall is a system device whose purpose is to manage and control information users. This means that, it is responsible for allowing the authorized personnel to access the information while rejecting the unauthorized personnel. In other word, it is a security device that control information or data access of the system users. This system is used by almost all business to keep information from unauthorized access. Apparently, no business that wants to share its secrets with individuals who do not matter and therefore, create such a device to keep the information to itself. Through this, a business’s data will be safe and far reduce the chances of theft. Therefore, in that case, the University has an opportunity to install such a device to be able to keep its information from unauthorized persons. It can use methods like password applications, key card applications and physical locks to name a few if them. This technological device can be applied especially when it comes to information access by the board of directors, parents and the management team. However, when it comes to all employee information, i.e. salary payments, amount of taxes paid, personal information, should also be kept private and therefore should be protected the best way possible. By doing this, the university will be able to carry out its operations effectively without complains or pressure from the employees. Also, there will not be destructions of the daily operations because of information theft claims from other parties whose data is vital and should have been kept secret.
Technologically, the computer machines and software have been improving with time. The modern computers have proved to be much faster and more effective than the current of some centuries ago. The current computers process data easily, faster and give clearer results. The current computers have proved to be extremely reliable and relevant for most business’s operations. In addition to that, they have become very effective and efficient when it comes to either service or product production and delivery. Therefore, computers are certainly the most used machines in businesses when it comes to advertising, supply chain management operations, product distribution, sales operations to name just but a few. However, for the case of the University in question, the since its product is service delivery, then the use of current modern computers will certainly play an important role for its operations. For instance, when the university wants to advertise its job vacancies, educational events, services they offer, university tenders to name a few, they are likely going to use the computers to perform that objective.
Furthermore, bearing in mind that the current computers have a very large information storage system and devices, then the university should certainly take advantage of that fact. This is so because, when a business operates with such a large number of students and workers (around 20, 000 people) then it has to store all of their information. Also, it has to ensure that the information is safe and correctly stored. One of the most important things to note about the university is that because of the fact that it deals with students, they will definitely use computers to do their research and many other activities involved with technology. Therefore, it has no choice but to purchase the best computers in the market to be able to facilitate and meet the students’ needs. The use of computers will improve communication among the users because the computers will make communication easier and faster compared to previous communication methods. This is simply because computers are also used for communication media like through skype, emails messages, video sharing and calls as well as audio calls. Computers are basically a wide range of communication platform. This is enabled by its technological advancement and software systems that are installed in it to make it functional.
With that information, it is clear this is one of the technology advancement that can help the university improve its business operations. Also, it will gain a better advantage of communicating and attracting new potential customers who need such services and technology advancement in their businesses.

Also, nowadays, it has become a norm for businesses to use technological improvement to carry out most their business operations and especially conduct their communication process. In relation to that, it is clear that almost all of them have faced a lot of challenges in doing so, like lack of funds to finance the operation, lack of technical support, lack of labor force with the required skills, increased chances of failure among other things. Nevertheless, it is not a fruitless idea because most have succeeded by the help of technology for a very long time.
