Individual reflection is associated with the personal and professional growth of the people. However, in order to measure the effectiveness of the learning process self-reflection is crucial (Gómez 2017). In order to identify the strength and weakness self-reflection is an effective way for the individual. This present study deals with the self-assessment process of the learning experience regarding the virtual marketing. Virtual marketing is a process to innovate new business strategies by using the digital marketing. Application of the social networking devices is a part of the virtual marketing. This reflective study reveals the positive and negative aspect of the virtual marketing and learning experience from this particular marketing tool.
The concept of the learning experience focuses on the various programs, interaction with people and gaining experience from different incidents (Dragan et al. 2017). In order to develop the skill of the individuals learning experience is crucial. Learning is two types one is theoretical another is practical. Hence, knowledge can be obtained from the theoretical learning and practical learning. This current assessment is based on assessment 1 and assessment 2. Hence, it is helpful for me to improve my knowledge and gather new knowledge regarding the virtual marketing based on the previous assessment. According to me, the learning experience is a part of knowledge expansion that gives the opportunity to the individuals to experience new things and to get an idea from such experience. The previous assessment enables me to understand the pros and cons of the virtual marketing in the context of business. This knowledge will be helpful for me to understand the significance of the virtual marketing in the professional sector.
Learning experience possesses great value in improving the knowledge of the individuals. As per my viewpoints, an individual is able to acquire new knowledge from the learning experience and to improve their existing knowledge (McLatchie and Campbell 2017). As a management student, it is essential for me to understand the marketing tool and virtual marketing is a big tool of marketing in the recent years. However, it is identified by me that virtual marketing enables the employees to understand the changing demand of the target market over the time. Thus, learning experience from assessment 1 and assessment 2 enables me to reveal the significance of the virtual marketing, which will be beneficial for me in my future.
Learning experience can be obtained by taking part in various course and programs. New knowledge can be obtained by pursuing any course for a certain period. This course may be educational or any other learning courses. On the other hand, the program may be educational program, social or cultural program that enables an individual to obtain knowledge regarding this program (Kellenberg and Rieger 2017). As a student of the management course, I am able to acquire marketing knowledge from my educational course. On the other different educational programs related to the marketing are helpful for me to enhance my knowledge.
Present knowledge enables the individuals to utilize it in future to develop them personally and professionally (Swart 2017). Assignment 1 and assignment 2 is based on the application of virtual marketing for the development of the business industry in near future. This is helpful for me to increase my professional knowledge in the near future. As a management student, it is crucial for me to gather business knowledge especially the marketing knowledge. Hence, the impact of virtual marketing on the business has given me a clear idea about its benefits and drawbacks in the business context. However, it has been received that virtual marketing easily gains the customer attention towards the product rather than the traditional marketing. Hence, based on this concept I will be able to understand the relationship between the customers and the virtual marketing. This will be helpful for me to make myself n effective marketing executive in the near future. The knowledge that is obtained from the current study will bring opportunity for me in my professional career in coming future. On the other hand, by identifying the challenges regarding virtual marketing also gives a preliminary idea about the negative impact of virtual marketing on business. As a result, I will be able to access this digital marketing tool in future as a marketing professional.
Various stages are included in the learning process like observation, understanding, listening and evaluation of the learning experience (Lindén et al. 2013). However, I have gathered a brief overview about the virtual marketing in the context of the future development of business by analyzing the previous study. During the observation phase, many journal articles are reviewed by me to understand the concept and impact of virtual marketing in the context of business. On the other hand, I have watched several videos to gain more knowledge regarding the effect of virtual marketing on the business performance. Therefore, I made discussion with my seniors who are related to the virtual marketing process in their business. On the other hand, I also observe other work related to the field of virtual marketing. This gives me a clear idea about such digital marketing tool and its effect on business.
Observation is required to get an idea on any topic as it allows the individuals to enhance their concept regarding such particular topic (Dragan et al. 2017). This current business research is based on the role of virtual marketing in the development of the business industry. My existing knowledge regarding the virtual marketing becomes vast by pursuing such business research project. From the business, research based on assessment 1 and 2 is helpful for me to improve my learning process, as I am able to understand the rapid application of the virtual marketing in the business industry. On the other hand, this project also helps me to define that virtual marketing makes a good communication with the consumers that also associated with the increase in sales. Hence, it can be said that the existing learning experience is modified by the current experience.
While developing the project the most important part was to enhance my learning techniques in the subject. One of the major outcomes that can be highlighted is the precision while doing the project. The virtual marketing of a product or service has become most effective for different company in the industry, especially the small and medium sized industry (Kasemsap 2016). Incorporating the ideas of online media marketing has been identified as the cost effective way of marketing too. Thus, I have to know about the positive and negative impact of virtual marketing. I also came to know about different perspectives that will be useful in further business studies (Dragan et al. 2017). The basics of marketing and the increase in the number of virtual stores, based on the size of the organisation have given insight of the correlation of consumer behaviour of the audiences of media marketing. The developed hypothesis based in the gap analysis in assignment 2 has equipped me with tools that will be very effective in future situational analysis. The complete virtual marketing perspective has become cleared by the research done in the project proposal (Fisher et al. 2014).
The particular activities, that has been done in the process to do literature review and building the project proposal, which is given in the last two assignment has improved my insight to this latest concept (Savery 2015).
The process of this research has improved my ability to do relevant research in the field. This new virtual marketing concept is very useful for the start-ups that are trying to build a media-marketing plan. The concepts in the social media marketing, virtual technology and purchasing decision of consumers are useful in demographic study of consumers and will be helpful in future study in consumer behaviour. Different aspect of virtual marketing has also enhanced the knowledge of different strategy that a company can rely on, in the process. The more usage of leads with the help of online media in building a relevant applied research study will be easy for me in the near future. Thus, the knowledge can be also useful in preparing me with real experience of operating in the marketing campaign in any organisation (Boud et al. 2013). I will be able to share my knowledge with the perspectives that have been building while doing the research. The professional part of my life will be easy to a certain extend with the knowledge I have gained in research project. In addition, the skill to identify the negative and positive elements of a business will further help me in implementing the thoughts in the business process.
Conclusion
Therefore, from the above reflection of my learning, documented in a report with the relevance of my learning process is highlighted in the part. While the topic became interesting for me to explore more in the field, some negative perspective built in the process is also given in the explanation. The description and evaluation of the learning process is pointed in the reflection report. The insights and usefulness of the research is also summarised in the above report.
