The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a chart that represents tasks to be performed in the project in order to accomplish it as well as depict the relationships of the tasks with each other. Those phases are initiation phase, planning phase, implementation or execution phase and closing phase. Under these phases the tasks are represented regarding the development of software for the warehouse. The operation of warehousing is important for any of the organization in order to meet and balance the demands and supply of the products. The Work breakdown structure is prepared as following for the development of the software for warehouse.
Gantt chart is a classic tool used in project management. It was developed in the twentieth century by Henry L. Gantt. Gantt chart is used for planning and scheduling the tasks of the project in order to complete the project within time (Geraldi & Lechter, 2012). The Gantt chart shows the sequence of tasks that takes place in the project as well as the time that the tasks take to complete. The Gantt chart helps to represent the link between tasks that takes place in the project. The progress of the project can also be analyzed by the help of Gantt charts. The people who are engaged in tasks, grouping of the tasks as well as the start and the end date can be configured through Gantt charts (Maylor, 2001).
The Gantt charts can be used by any type of the organization for project management. It is one of the useful tools for the management of project as this helps to accomplish the project within the time period. The Gantt charts also help to determine critical path of the project that is the longest path or the sequence of tasks in the project and it also provides the overview of the tasks to be completed within the time along with the completion of all the activities of the project (2020business insight, 2017).
The main tasks include initiation phase, planning phase, execution phase and closing phase. The sub-activities are arranged according to the main tasks along with the assigning of the responsibilities to perform the tasks. The project was started on 26th of May, 2017 and accomplished on 16th February 2018.
The budget of Software Development for Warehouse project was $ 50,000. Out of the total budget of the project, 20 percent of the budget was considered for the fringe that was $ 10,000. The direct costs in the project were $ 39,720. The indirect costs are also essential for organization programs however it is difficult to feature directly to individual programs. The indirect costs incorporate salary of the bookkeeper, general liabilities insurance as well as for general technology updates. These programs of the organization have to hold a suitable division of these costs (Accountingtools, 2010). The indirect costs in the project were $ 280. The budget was determined taking into account the estimated costs of the project and incorporating other costs. The employees were provided with the salary on the basis of the pre-assumed costs for per hour pay that was defined properly and according to the efforts that the work takes. Most importantly, the addition of the fringe in the budget of the project was a good thing. The indirect costs were also considered in the project budget as the sponsors agreed to include the indirect costs in the budget of the project.

The quality of the project can be enhanced through planning and practicing the management of the quality of project (Projectmanagementdocs, 2017).

The purpose of software development quality management plan is to ascertain the goals, procedures and responsibilities that are necessary to successfully put into practice quality management functions for the project. In order to implement the quality management, plan it is essential to determine the roles and the responsibilities during the process of the development of software and to establish a software that is good in quality as well as can help in managing the functions of warehousing effectively and efficiently.
Development of quality issues to ensure quality
The report of Project Closure helps to make sure the accomplishment of the project and the related tasks as well as to represent the position of the project at the time of closure. It sets the expectations for future projects. It reviews the goals and the objectives from the project charter. The intention to prepare the project closure report is to recall the members of the project team regarding every task that is required to be finished during the project closeout. The project closure checklist will help to remind the project manager about the tasks that are required to be accomplished earlier than the project officially closes (Costantini, 2012).
