In this picture, he government of india has come up with a unique EWS quota under RTE act 2009, to make the poor and the disadvantage stage of children who reached to the education in private school.
The implementation of Right to education act, 2009 has provided free and compulsory elementary education to all. Under the sec 12 (1) (c) of right to education act 2009, the private schools are required to reserve 25% of seats for the admission of the students belonging to low level class of economic and socially disadvantage section of the society.
With the help of this EWS quota, a common platform would be provided to all the section of the society to sit and learn together.
An equal opportunity is provided to children belonging to the economically and socially disadvantage section to pursue quality education from private schools, which is otherwise not afforded by them. Meanwhile, social reality are more commonly faced by the general category children while sharing the same space with the poor and disadvantaged children. On the other hand, when these families tried to gain the access the entry via this quota in the private school, the situations and experiences that aroused became the main focus of the present day study.
