Moreover, this experience also allow me to get better understanding of the published works and the methods that other research scholars have used to accomplish their research aims and objectives. I have learned how to select relevant information from a journal that accurately explains my chosen research aims and objectives. I have learned to formulate effective literature, choosing relevant research methodologies that can accurately illustrate the significance of the concerned research topic. My mentor also makes us learn about different research methods and its applicability in different kind of research. I have thus, selected some research methods that will help me to complete my research within the mentioned time.

The topic that I have selected for the research allows me to identify the advantageous and disadvantageous aspects of the social networks in a business environment. The research will help me to attain my academic degree. Moreover, I have also know about the process of sorting of different academic materials so that I can formulate en effective literature that best suited by research aims and objectives. Moreover, I can also say that this research program have helped me to gain an in-depth knowledge of methodologies through which the research can be accomplished. Details about primary and secondary data also helped me to select the appropriate research for the concerned research topic.

Justification for Chosen Activities in the Previous Assignments

I can also say that this research project helped me to attain accurate procedure for conducting a research and thus I think I am able to conduct different research on different topic. Moreover, if I want to take my career as a research scholar, I can well-coordinate my work with my knowledge. Additionally, my knowledge was restricted to a perception that social networks has its significance in communicating with the close people and acquaintances but this research have shown me that this can be used an a effective tool for business marketing for attracting more customers towards the company. I have learned that there are some metric through which the effective performance of the business can be measured like targeted traffic, increase of lead generation and getting proper market insights. Thus, in future, if I desire to start a business I can easily assess the performance of the business and take effective strategies through with greater productivity and profitability can be attained.

The first thing that I have learnt is the format of a research through which desired objectives can be attained.  I have learned that the introduction of the research contain all the essential details of the research that is research aims, objectives and hypothesis which is then followed by the literature that is develop by other research scholar in the same field of the research. I have read resources like authentic websites, new articles, research articles and peer journals. I have discussed the procedure of research with my classmates and mentors and have learned that most of the students have followed different research processes but my mentor have approved my research proposal that provide me the assurance that I am proceeding in a correct way and the process that I have selected for accomplishing the research objectives efficiently.

I think this business research is helpful for me as it provides a greater knowledge of effective decision making. I have learned that every business people take necessary step to survive and succeed in a new geographical region and for that they have to know whether or not the people living in that community like their brand. Thus, use of social network allow them to achieve such aspects effectively so that more people get aware of their brand and can experience their service at least once.  This business research will also help in drawing the pros and cons of the social network. This knowledge will help me to utilize the advantageous aspect by overcoming the negative perspective of social media. However, this research will also make me able to take efficient steps to overcome the disadvantage of the social network. Taken for instance, additional resources may be needed to manage the online presence, in such cases, the businesspeople can formulate an in-house IT department or hire a third party IT team for handling their online presence.

Social networks represent the connection among different people irrespective of the demographics and geographic locations. Thus, it can be said that in terms of business, social networks helps for globalization and thus, business people should implement effective social network strategies so that they can attract people from different nations. I have thus, chosen a research topic that highlights the pros and cons of social network in business so that a view can be illustrated through which effective social networking strategy can be implemented. I have research on different peer journals and found that effective social networking strategy helps in monitoring the competitor’s progress and help in attaining customer interaction along with effectual public relations.

In the second assignment I have planned an outline for the research conducted in the same research topic. I have selected the method of conducting a survey from the customers. This is known as quantitative research, where the data obtained obtained from research will be analyzed numerically. Moreover, in order to add more effectiveness in the research outcome secondary sources will also be taken into consideration through which effective data are collected. These sources are articles, journals, and government notifications so that obtained data from the survey and actual scenario can be compared effectively to get the accurate scenario of the research topic. I have also selected questionnaire methods so that customized questions can be formulated based on the research topic. The customers will present an accurate view on the research topic. Moreover, in my course this research will help me to attain my degree so that I can get a better placement in any workplace. I can also say that, if I want to be a businessman, I can implement technological advancement in the business process for better productivity. Through this research I have learnt lot about pros and cons of establishing an effective social network and thus I can be said that I can take effective steps to overcome the problem of social networking and can focus on the positive aspect of the implementation of the social networks.

Thus, I can conclude that I have selected this research topic to show that social networking can also be beneficial in business environment rather than in making personal relations with other people. Social networking helps a businessperson to make the business global by spreading the presence of the business online. I have selected survey questions so that accurate viewpoint of the consumers can be attained whether or not the presence of the social network helped them to get aware of the organization and their product. In addition to that, I can also say that this research not only helped me academically but also will help me in future whether I want to be a businessperson it a research scholar. In future I can also conduct the same research in wider perception by comparing two different nations and their perception on implementing technological advancement in business.
