BTS are not afraid to show their true selves, they are energetic and silly while also maintaining modesty and humbleness. They debuted on 2013 with the album No More Dream. Their road to fame was not easy, they encountered many hurdles to get noticed by the general public especially not being in one of the 3 big entertainments in South Korea. They were first became so popular in America when they were nominated and won as Yap Social Artist in Hi//hoard Mimic Awarziv (B8M4s) with the power of their big far base and just this May 21, 20 18, they won for the 2nd time in a row and also made their comeback stage in 88M4s with the album Love Yourself g ‘Tour’.
BTS ‘s popularity in the west is quite evident in many ways.
They write & produce their own music and they talk about societal expectations, conformity, unfair authorities, and youth in which helped people open their eyes and also people that goes through specific problems. They helped many people and children when they decided to partner with UNICEF and raised a campaign called “LOVE MYSELF ” In addition, their fans that was inspired with what they’ve done also helped on other donations happening in social media(Twitter) like AT&T, KRAFT, Forcejbr change UN1(‘EF and many more. On September 24, 2018, BTS made a speech on the UN General Assembly in New York helping people to speak for themselves and not forget to love themselves. BTS is not just getting popular on the west but also worldwide, they have sold out 33 concert dates all over the world and some Asian tour dates hasn’t even dropped yet. This are some of the objective reasons why BTS became popular on the west.
In conclusion, BTS became popular on the west because of their deep and meaningful lyrics, breaking barriers and helped many people and children through their influence. BTS are all extremely skilled in their profession. Their modesty and humbleness makes them easy to love.
