Describe about the Case Study of Ningbo Virtual Elder Care Service?
With the technological advancement, almost every organization now a day are focused to incorporate them and to welcome the business growth along with the customer retention. For example incorporation of e-business strategies have made the business processes much easier and by the involvement of online presence of an organization, it has welcomed the potential growth of the revenue. Even it became much easier for a company to market its product with its online presence with a much effective way. Even customers can take effective decisions while they are having online shopping experience. Even customers can make comparisons between substitute products by viewing the prices, offers and ratings. On the other hand customers can give their valuable feedback in the feedback panel that is designed within official page of company. This online feedback system on the other hand helps to get the customer information, i.e. their name, location, preferences. Customer can make their personalized account in which they can keep product in wish list. That in turn help a business organization to understand preferences of their customers and the company’s website have an analytics tools attached with it that in turn help to market other products to their customer. For example, a customer is using a product of a particular brand and then that website will market other product of that brand in order to increase the revenue. Much as the same way a sales man does. In this document I will be discussing about the Elder care organization, that is Ningbo virtual elder care service. This elder care service centers take contract based services form providers are called the Home Visiting Care Staff (HVCS). Ningbo Virtual Elder Care Service is situated at china and aimed to give personal care service to the elderly people by reaching at their door step. At earlier stage, HSVC staffs need to collect patient information from government Information service center as per the taken service orders from elder care service center. It was quite difficult to reach government service centers each time via phone and taking customers’ information. Sometime result was not accurate. Even Ningbo Virtual Elder Care Service center is primarily focused upon taking those customer information in a pen paper based data repository and later HSVC staffs are contacted as per the service allocation is needed. That is where NVECS wanted to welcome changes by replacing the pen and paper based data repository into system based data repository to maintain accurate data and to generate electronic record and to print those records and required schedules periodically.
The HSVC staffs were facing numbers of challenges related to lack of infrastructure, poor resources, and physical environment. The main aim of this document is to bring out challenges that the HVCS is facing due to lack of proper maintenance. The problem lies in home based care services being non-computerized (van den Brink, Stoter and Zlatanova, 2013).It is getting difficult day by day for the Home Visiting Care Staffs to operate and deliver service according to the details of patients; information and other relevant data are stored and accessed using paper based system. Thus, there is an immediate requirement to incorporate a new technologically advanced system in the Ningbo Virtual Elder Care Service that will allow HVCS to store relevant data and information about the clients and generate time-sheets and schedules and reports automatically in a periodic manner (Narayan, Narayan and Mishra, 2013).
According to the above stated problem an efficient plan and solving strategy is required. As per the requirement it is required to have a system and an effective application to act as a proper repository of information. This system will generate report of their customer that will consist of their related information. Hence it became possible for HSVC staffs to get the accurate results of their customers and can also reach them properly within time. The data repository application with the system will allow NVECS to have a secure and effective management of data (Misbhauddin and Alshayeb, 2013). At earlier stage NVECS was used to store their information in the form of pen and paper. Hence it was quite difficult to find those data which have been stored a long time before. As the data repository is much more concerned, it is required to form a database application that is needed to store data in an effective way (Potera, 2013). The database application will maintain the integrity, consistency and validity of data and will help to find data with a random search facility. Database application will provide the validity checks for those stored information. That in other hand will ensure to make a data repository for accurate. Even this application will provide a proper user access control. That in turn will allow a secure access of data. Database will also provide integrity constrains, i.e. whenever a particular portion of data base will be modified, respective changes will be reflected to other parts of database (Park, Lee and Rine, 2011). Hence it becomes possible for HVCS staffs to have appropriate data of their customer to reach them.

Decision maker for this project is one of those key people who have initiated the overall approaches. Decision maker sets the project vision and point out the business needs related to this system. Hence, with the incorporation of database and a system to hold all the data, in place of pen and paper based repository system, decision maker have suggested for giving training to all the employees within the NVECS to handle the system along with database (Borkovec, Sedivy and Hubalovsky, 2013). It will become necessary to for NVECS to hire employees with computer literacy. Even employers must update themselves with the advanced knowledge and also hire expertise in particular field (Independa Kendal at Home Case Study., 2015)
It has also been mentioned to incorporate the e-presence of the organization and its services. Hence it will become possible for the organization to aware everyone about their services. Even it will become possible to get customer feedback online. It was also suggested that the incorporation of Big analytics will help the staffs of NVECS to segregate collected data as per their pattern, i.e. depending upon different categories of customer data as per their service orders (Clark and McGeeâ€ÂLennon, 2011). It can also be considered more beneficial if NVECS can incorporate the use WWW to contact with its other branches those are situated at other location and even within the organization. In this scenario, it was recommended to take service from ISP (Internet Service Provider). Internet Service providers will help NVECS to expand their network and help the key people of the organization to track the business transaction setting at the remote location (Seiwert and Woeltje, 2011). It is also needed to make analysis of stakeholders. There are two types of stake holders are associated with this project, i.e. internal stake holder and external stake holder. These stake holders are the key people those who know the potential risk and benefits of the overall system. They are responsible to oversee the budget allocation along with the overall process from project initiation to end of the project (Borgiel et al., 2013). Even stakeholders are responsible to train the employees as per the system specification.
