Discuss about the Change Management for Service-Based Company.
I have been working in an organization XYZ for one year. The company is a service-based company that helps in providing IT services to the customers and other companies. This helps in growing their businesses in the market. I have been facing various changes in the company in these one year of time. The learning behavior of the company has been changed. The company has been focusing on gaining market capture process. The net profit of the company has been increasing in the market by the implementation of the strategic management. However, the working culture of the company has been continuously changing over the times. The company has been losing its employee engagement in the team due to the pressure provided to them. The company has not been looking for the profit of employee. I have been facing too much work pressure as the shift times are not properly maintained by the company. I have experienced a good behavior of the manager at the workforce in the company. The importance of the change management has been helping in maintaining a change in the company. The sales and growth of the company has been increased in the market with the implementation of the Lewin’s Model. Therefore, I have been frustrated with this change in the company. The company has been looking for getting more work and profit from the employees. Rather, the company is nit providing any kind of extra pay or incentives to the employees. Therefore, I have been depressed with my work pressure. This has been happening due to the change in the manager of the company. Later on, the manager of the company has been changed that helps in changing the management of the company.
I have been facing a lot of changes in my working experiences. The new manager has been able to create a change in the organizational operations. The use of strategic implementation in the operations have been helping in maintaining the employee engagement in the company. The manger has been using the Lewin’s change model in the organization. Changes in the thing for the company for growing in the market. The change in the organization has been helping in maintaining the functional duties in the market. The competition in the ma has been increasing that have been helping in increasing the effectiveness of modification. Different theories in the change management model can be used in the change management in the organization. However, the manager has used the Lewin’s change model. I have experienced a lot of changes in the management of the company after implementation. There are three steps of the Lewin’s change model. The behavioral change in the organization has been a key point of the using the model. The behavior of the employee has been changed in the team. I have experienced a lot of behavioral changes among the employees. I have been treated well in the tam with a roper guidance from my seniors. Therefore, the use of the Lewin’s model has been successfully able to change the implication of the behavior in the team. Driving forces facilitate change because they push employees in the desired direction. Restraining forces hinder change because they push employees in the opposite direction. Therefore, these forces must be analyzed and Lewin’s three-step model can help shift the balance in the direction of the planned change.
The first step in this process has been the changing behavior for unfreezing the existing situation. The existing situation in the company has been harsh and rough. The mentality of the employees have not been towards their work due to the high work load. I have been feeling frustrating in working in this company under the previous manger. However, with the implementation if this changing model in the company. The behavioral shift has been unfreeze to equilibrium state. However, according to me, many organization fail to achieve the unfreezing step of the model. In other words, an organization might face difficulties that organizational members within the system suffer a process of “disconfirmations” in the unfreezing stage thus resist changing (Cummings & Worley, 2015). Therefore, in the unfreezing stage, the main focus is to reduce the forces that try to maintain an organization’s behavior at its present level. Schein (2017) has indicated that most organizational change projects fail in the beginning stage, the unfreezing stage. It is because organizations neglect the importance of organizational members’ attitudes and beliefs that play a critical role in determining the success of organizational change. According to me this step has focused on the organizational members having higher level of urge mess for a change in the organization. The behavioral change in the members of the organization for a change has been properly mentioned in the model. I have experience so many changes in my behavior. With the introduction of the model, the changes are experienced by me related to calmness and persistence.
The use of the first step of model has been helping in drifting changes in behavior of employees. Organizational leaders have been creating urge among the employees for accepting changes in the organization. I have internally realized about the changes in the necessity of change helps in determining the success of project. The unfreezing system of the organization has been properly maintained in the organization by the implementation of the Lewin’s model concept.
I have experienced several responsibility at the manager level related to the change management in the organization. Stakeholder’s of the company has been appreciating the change in the company. The share of the market has been increasing in a daily basis that has shown growth in the sales of the company in the market. The second stage of the model is the movement. In this step, the employees of the company engage in movement by implementing the change management. The proposal of the change management in the coming has been derived by the manager of the company. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the manager to implement this step in the company. The employees have the tendency of movement towards the change with the proposed path followed by the manager. The leadership quality if the manager in order to maintain the oath of the employees in the company has been properly done. The company has been losing its employee engagement in the team due to the pressure provided to them. The company has not been looking for the profit of employee. I have been facing too much work pressure as the shift times are not properly maintained by the company. Therefore, I have been frustrated with this change in the company. The use of the second step has been emphasizing on the improvement of the employees behavior. Learning abilities of the employees including me has been increased and enhanced by the leadership quality of the employees. The focus of the leadership on the change management has been helping in providing knowledge related to the change management in the company. According to me, I have been influenced by the leadership quality of the manger.
However, there has been conflict between the employees and the manger if the company, the manager has been able to convince employees regarding the change management in the company. In other words, leaders in the learning organization actively promote openness, an experimental mind-set, articulate a vision, and act as a system-thinker. Leaders play critical roles in involving and leading the transforming into a learning organization. I have acquired new learning skills and knowledge with the change management in the company. The working ethics of the company has been changed with the implementation of the model. The member of the company has been changing the working ethics of the company in a daily basis. These changes have been maintaining growth of the company in the market. The empowerment of leadership helps in affecting success of the company. I have been following leadership quality of serving as a role model of the management the company. The manager has been continuously achieving success in the market with the implementation of the movement. Leaders have to disperse power to various employees of taking decision regarding their employment. I have been provided with responsibility of using my employment for the development of the company in the market. The positive change in the company has been maintaining mistakes of the company in the market. The involvement of the managerial decision in the change management has been helping in maintaining the issues created in the company.
I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding the change management from this experience. The company has been facing a lot of issues regarding the management of the employees in the workforce. The use of change management systems in the company has been losing in maintaining the success of the company. I have been helping in maintaining a different approach to the Lewin’s change model. The use if the model has helped in maintaining a cooperative approach to the maintenance to the approach of change management in the company. I have experienced a good behavior of the manager at the workforce in the company. The importance of the change management has been helping in maintaining a change in the company. The sales and growth of the company has been increased in the market with the implementation of the Lewin’s Model. Different organizations use different organizational change model for stay in competition in the market. All of these studies showed that leadership is the key factor for change process. The study indicates the dominant role of leadership, employee involvement and sharing knowledge in change process of Lewin’s model. The use of the Lewin’s Model has helped in mitigating the issues in the implementation of the change management theory in the company. Managing workforce diversity helps organizational leaders to be more responsive to a variety of individual needs, retain attractive groups, and to ensure that each organizational member has a safe environment to increase their interaction and collaboration to achieve learning. The use of various situation in the maintained of the organizational values has been helping in maintaining the success of the company in the market.
