There are two major approaches for successful office automation to the employees and they are IoT and Raspberry Pi model-B (Javid et al., 2015). The first one is IoT (Internet of Things) that provides complete facility from monitoring to controlling automation in the office environment through Internet connection. The Internet connection makes Internet of Things valuable asset for organizations as it can be accessed from anywhere at any time through apps in Smartphones (Rodge et al., 2017). The Internet of Things provides analysis of data in real time environment. The second one is Raspberry Pi model-B that provides efficient and effective office automation that controls and manages the electrical loads, temperature of room and humidity through sensors (Murthy & Kiran, 2017). The Raspberry Pi model-B is smart and economically great for office automation that uses wireless technology such as Smartphones apps.
The benefits of both the approaches are similar and they provide great advantages to the working environment in the organization. The first one is ease and simplicity of data analysis in the organization (Javid et al., 2015). Both the approaches provide quick and fast responses to monitor multiple numbers of visitors through a system called attendance system. The human effort is reduced in both the approaches for processing of large volume of data in an organization. The issues of both the approaches are scalability and flexibility associated with the sensors and electric systems (Murthy & Kiran, 2017). The open interfaces are also one of the issues of both the approaches. The Raspberry Pi model-B has compatibility issues with X86 OS.
The factors to be taken into account for implementation of office automation in Regional Gardens Ltd are as follows.
Hence, the suggested office automation approach is combination of Raspberry Pi model-B and Internet of Things for Regional Gardens Ltd. This approach is necessary to provide improved and enhanced approach for the organization. The combination of both the approaches will provide scalability, privacy, security, huge storage capacity, and flexibility and Internet connection. The issues of both the approach will minimize the limitations of each other while working.
PaaS is referred to as Platform as a Service and also known as Cloud Platform services. PaaS works by providing elements of cloud specification to the required software. The facilities provided by PaaS are development, checking and testing, deployment of applications at low cost (Singh & Attri, 2015). The application in PaaS is handled and maintained by the developers of PaaS service. PaaS provides flexibility, scalability and maximum availability. Apprenda is an example of PaaS (Zhang et al., 2017). IaaS is referred to as Infrastructure as a Service that provides infrastructure models for self-service by the organization. This self-service helps to collect, assess, evaluate, audit and manage data warehouse infrastructures that are mobile/remote. The IaaS uses virtual environment for computing data. The facilities provided by IaaS are that it is service-based and handled by the users of IaaS infrastructure (Ranjanet al., 2015). Microsoft Azure is the example of IaaS.
The issues of PaaS are outage suffering in business continuity and disaster recovery planning. The next issues areloopholes in security of software development process and legacy applications. The other issue is fulfilling PaaS vendor’s demands during work processes (Noor et al., 2016). The issues of IaaS are security concerns of getting attacked and threat of insiders leading to misuse of information. The next issues are occurrence of escaping from virtual system and getting workload of other users. The other issues are destroying of encryption and cloud services authentication (Kyriazis et al., 2018). These issues should be considered to be taken into account while adopting and implementing IaaS and PaaS cloud services.
IaaS cloud service is the recommended cloud service for Regional Gardens Ltd. IaaS cloud service is suggested because of the following factors. IaaS is of low cost which makes it top most priority for Regional Gardens Ltd. The low cost is the major reason for the adoption of IaaS cloud services. The scalability and flexibility provided by IaaS cloud service is the most sought out choice for adoption of this cloud services. The scalability will help to adjust as per the requirements of the organizations. The flexibility will help to choose the sufficient amount of storage and computing capability. IaaS also provides on-demand access feature and improved security to the working environment.
The comparison between SaaS, PaaS and IaaS cloud services are described in the following paragraph.
IaaS is useful when it comes to provide on-demand purchases for organizations. However, SaaS provides feature of directly running applications via web browser instead of downloading the applications on the system (Almorsy, Grundy & Müller 2016). PaaS, on the other hand, provides platform for software creation for the user instead of on-demand service. IaaS has feature of virtual center to provide data storage whereas SaaS and PaaS does not has feature of virtual center to provide data storage. In case of IaaS, the developers of the cloud service are responsible for updating of services (Kavis, 2014). However, in case of SaaS and PaaS, the users are of the cloud service are responsible for updating of services. IaaS is appropriate for start-up companies in which management wants to spend low cost on the cloud services. However SaaS is appropriate for small companies and PaaS is appropriate for large projects consisting of multiple developers (Cavalcante et al., 2016). Thus, the discussions shows the differences in the working, features and facilities of IaaS, SaaS and PaaS cloud services.
The recommendation for SharePoint 2010 service in Regional Gardens Ltd. Is IaaS cloud service and the reason for recommendation are given below in the following paragraph.
The first one is the feature of IaaS for providing services according to organization’s requirement and needs. This helps the organization to use the service only when required. The second one is the feature of IaaS to be maintained and handled by the organization. This feature helps the organization to have full control to use IaaS for SharePoint 2010 services. The third one is IaaS provides virtual center to store data and hence there is no hassle of maintaining the infrastructure. The maintenance cost of SharePoint 2010 is decreased due to IaaS cloud service involvement as IaaS individually handles the services of SharePoint 2010 (Balute, Macalaguing Jr & Gonzales, 2016). The SharePoint 2010 services can be accessed from anywhere at anytime through IaaS cloud service. IaaS cloud service can withstand disasters like power outage or bad internet connection due to virtual data center. Thus the organization can be able to restore the organizational data.

The issue of privacy and security are the major concern for every organization and in case of IaaS, it is remotely managed by the vendor. This can lead to frauds and data breach (Garg, 2017). The technical difficulties and downtime of IaaS cloud services leads to data loss if not handled properly. The vulnerability issues is increasing which can lead to exploitation of IaaS cloud services as there are number of attackers and malicious users. The organizations are also concerned about the security of their and customer’s sensitive data (Hussein & Khalid, 2016). This can result in major disasters for the organization.
