The paper demonstrates the working environment and the decision-making process of the organizations. At present, the organizations are constantly developing innovative or creative techniques to have a mutual understanding between the team members. Such implementation of innovative techniques helps the organization to gather different people to work together. For this purpose, the organizations use communication strategy that develops a strong relationship between the management team and the staff members. The paper provides two case scenarios that are scenario A and scenario B. The organization mentioned in scenario A will make use of clustering method and the organization in scenario B will use Leximancer Concept map to enhance the decision-making process.
In an Australian mid-sized organization a total number of 800 employees are working. Out of 800 employees 80 people were engaged in the work of research, development, and design (RD&D). The job of the organization is to recognize innovative capabilities of the RD&D staff members. The capabilities of the staff members help the organization in differentiating their business from their opponents or rivals within the marketplace (Razavi, Einafshar & Sassani, 2015). To examine the creative capabilities of the staff members, the organization has set up a project based on their shapeless communication. Through email-based communication, implicit information of the RD&D staff members could be better accessed and translated. For this purpose the directions and rates of connectivity, as well as the emails of the staff members, have been mapped accordingly over a one week of a period by the organization. On the provided map of RD&D shapeless information available in emails, the results based on the research have been provided. The map helps in detecting the employees along with their specific roles in which they are logged in with the help of node Bryce, Flintsch & Hall, 2014). The intensity and the directions of traffic are presented by the numbers of lines inside or outside of the nodes and rates of connectivity are presented by the particular lines that connect different nodes. Thus, the project is in need of the interpretation of the map, and it also focuses on the decision made to discuss the content. It will discuss the relevancy of the implicit information gathered from the emails that will be suitable for the organization to make a wise of it. Therefore, different meeting rooms will be organized for the RD&D staff members along with an organizer, visual aids and a group decision support system. All these will be provided to the staff members to summarize and link up the outputs of the meeting rooms.
Therefore, to support the meetings among the staff members the project will make use of communication technology system which is group based. This system will also help the staff members to convert the data into explicit information (Marttunen, Lienert & Belton, 2017). The organization will execute this process by collaborating the staff members those who will attend the meeting.
The nodes and clusters of six different staff members working in RD&D, those who are chosen to participate in the meeting are shown in the following table.

In a similar group, all the similar clusters are selected by grouping a set of numbers. The overall concept is based on segmentation of customer portfolio that is entirely based on various factors such as behavioral attributes, different demographics, and transaction behavior. In the analysis, hierarchical techniques have been utilized for clustering of nodes (Mastorakis & Siskos, 2016). This particular technique is determined to be the standard technique that is generally used for clustering of nodes. Here all the clusters are same except the clusters present at the endpoint are different. This method helps in selecting the particular key members those who will attend the meeting. To arrange the meeting, the organization will make use of communication technology that will help in identifying the capabilities of the staff members.
Dangling nodes has not been utilized in the following analysis, as it is used to delete or eliminate a node from a cluster. It is observed that no such nodes have been deleted from the clusters hence it is clear that for dangling analysis nodes is not used (García-Peñalvo & Conde, 2014). Whereas, unconnected nodes have been used instead of dangling nodes for the analysis. Two unconnected nodes have been observed within the map that indicates the key members those who are not chosen for the meeting. As the members are not selected for the meeting hence, there is no need for the organization to identify their capabilities. Making use of unconnected nodes makes it easier for the organization to choose the particular key members from RD&D department who will participate in the meeting. The main aim of selecting the clusters is to interlink the objects that are close to one another. It can be seen that the Senior Research and Development staff and Senior Staff, Research and Development are closely connected (Cao, Duan & Li, 2015). It is also noticed that the roles and responsibilities of both the staff members are similar to a greater extent.
A vital relationship amongst the concepts such as lines and placement as well as the significance of the concepts are provided in the Leximancer Concept map. Six themes have been shown on the map they are management, open, communication, customer, focused and results. The concept of communication is divided into two elements such as work and team. All the concepts are connected with other except focused (Morton, Keisler & Salo, 2016). It clearly states that all the concepts are connected to execute a smooth working process within an organization. All the concepts are strongly connected with communication, which shows the significance of communication within an organization. To have better execution of work an organization must have strong communication with its team members.
The Leximancer concept analysis is based on a wide-service based Australian organization that consists of ten service centers that comprise of 200 employees. The specific job of the organization is to recognize the service level support provided by the employees. To continue with this process, the organization have implemented a project that investigates the roles and responsibilities of the staff members as well as the support provided by the management (Cairns, Goodwin & Wright, 2016). The organization has conducted telephonic or face-to-face interviews of the field staff members and the management team. After conducting the interview process, the results based on the interviews have been recorded. Strong connections among the customers, management, and communication have been shown on the map. This concept also has a strong relationship with the work and team that are the components of communication. It can be seen that the concept focused is not connected with any of the concepts that may affect the organization in executing their work systematically and effectively. Along with other concepts, the organization must have a strong connection with focused (Wang & Calvano, 2015). If the employees or the management team are not focused on their work, then it will difficult for the organization to achieve the goals.
However, the field staff members interact with one another by sending emails, creating a pleasant atmosphere, conducting an open meeting, interacting through training and many more. Through this, the organization could make appropriate decisions related to the organizational activities. Making appropriate decision helps the organization to achieve success and get better results. The field staff members communicate with the management team to have a proper execution of the work (Borgonovo & Marinacci, 2015). It is noticed that there does not possess a high level of communication between the managers and the customers because the customers often communicate with the field staff members regarding any of their requirements. To give feedback and present their demands the customers are not associated directly with the managers. Therefore, a low level of connection has been shown within the map. Support availability plays a vital role to execute the business within the organization. To provide customers with advanced technologies support availability is highly important. Hence, a high level of support available to the customers is shown on the map.
Meanwhile, the map also presents the fact that there is an open communication between the field staff and the management team. The key issues of the organizational activities are openly discussed by the management team and the field staff members. This open discussion helps the organizational members to make an adequate decision based on organizational activities. The process of decision-making will be highly affected if there is no proper communication between the management team and the field staff members (Kaliszewski & Podkopaev, 2016). The entire result is related to the effective communication among the management team and the field staff to accomplish the work to get positive results.
As per the map, the communication strategy is well connected with the customers that will be useful for the organization. In the process of communication, the role of the managers is significant which includes planning, organizing, controlling and leading. Based on the result analysis it is observed that the managers are constantly focusing on meeting customer needs related to an incentive payment system. It is because the managers possess lack of funding capacity, hence they are not at all ready to provide incentive payment system to its customers. As per the results, the field staff members and the management team both must work together to fulfill the needs of the customers (Goodpaster, 2015). There must be a mutual understanding between the members to execute an effective business to attain the organizational goals. The results show the fact that support availability has proved to be effective for the organization. It is essential for the organization to have a better support system to have better management. Better support availability provides better support to the customers and field staff members that will enhance productivity. According to the results, customer-service communication must be modified to have greater openness. This modification helps to make a relevant decision related to the needs of the customers.
It is highly recommended to the management team of the organization to select the clusters by considering which nodes have connections and nearer. The organization could make use of soft clustering that will help them to execute the process of choosing the key members who will attend the meeting. Using a soft clustering method will make the work easier to accomplish as it puts the entire data into a node for every customer. It is also regarded as a useful method to continue with the process of clustering the nodes. It is significant for the management team to have a strong relationship not only with the customers but also with the field staff members. The management team must be strongly connected with all the concepts provided in the Leximaner Concept map (Child & Hsieh, 2014). Each concept along with focused must have a connection to execute better work within the organization to fulfill the needs of the customers. If any of the concepts are not linked with another concept, then it may put a negative impact on the organizational activities and the decision-making process. The management team and the field staff members must execute a high standard of work to achieve the target.
It will become difficult for the organization to satisfy the needs of the customers as per their requirements if the management team and the field staff members are not focused on their work. The Leximancer Concept analysis presents the themes and the significant connection between each theme to execute the business effectively. It is strongly recommended to the management team that the communication between the customers and managers must be of a high level that will help in understanding the demands of the customers. In today’s world customers are highly demanding. Thus, it becomes significant for the organization to follow communication strategy systematically. The manager of the organization must provide its customers and staff members with accurate support availability (Greco & Kadzi?ski, 2018). Proper support availability will help the organization to manage the project in a better way. The organization must make a wise of the communication strategy to understand the requirements of the customers. It can be seen that the management plays a vital role within the organization. Thus it is the responsibility of the management team to have a strong connection with every concept present in the Leximancer Concept map.

The paper concluded by examining and evaluating decision-making tools and techniques within the organization. It discussed the working environment of two different organizations whose decision-making process differs from each other. It is observed that in scenario A clustering method is used to identify the key members who will attend the meeting. Whereas, in the scenario, B Leximancer Concept map is used to explain the connection between different concepts. From the results, it is observed that if the concepts are not connected, then it will put an impact on the decision-making process in the organization. Therefore, there must be a strong connection between the managers and the field staff.
