Construction Project For Footpath At Quota Park – Project Management Plan

Project Description

The project had been made for constructing the footpath for people walking on the road. The project had been deployed for constructing the footpath or sidewalk at Quota Park. The initial requirements of the project include the use of proper project management concept for developing the operations of the project. The project would help in making an appropriate plan for constructing the pathways or footpath in Quota Park. The project would include the construction of the footpath along with development of the infrastructure at the park.

The project would be formed with the development of the sidewalk at the Quota Park. The inclusion of the various documents such as project charter would ensure the development of the most suitable project operations completion. The construction project had been prone for developing the plan for the construction of the project.

 The objectives of the project include the operations of the project management tools and methods for the construction process. The objectives of the project are,

1. To develop an appropriate plan for the completion of the project operations and development of smart objectives
2. To form an analysis of the project management concepts and tools that can be useful for the operations of the construction process.

The high level requirements of the project include the,

1. Communication plan for the conveying of the project requirements
2. Development of compact project plan for the construction process
3. Construction of the footpath in Quota Park

  The primary assumption of the project is that the resources of the project is easily available. It is considered that the operations of the project would go on smoothly. The sponsor would ensure the investments required for the construction of the pathways in the project.

The time, budget, and quality are the constraints of the project management operations of the project. The operations of the project are bounded by the deployed and estimated time duration of the project. The budget is also limited by the investors and their investments in the project.

 Stakeholder List:

 The stakeholders in the project include sponsors or investors, project manager, planner, budgeter, contractor, designer, and engineer.

 The project life cycle is waterfall in nature as it deploys the formation of the effective and smart methods of construction. Waterfall deploys the benefit of step by step implementation of the operations. The waterfall model consists of Requirement Analysis, designing of the project operations, implementation of the plan, verification of the plan, and maintenance are the elements of the Waterfall model.

 The project approval requirement include covering the quota park with a pathway for the visitors in the park. The requirement criteria include the completion of the operations of the project as per mentioned in the project tender within the allocated time and budget for completion.
