The actual role of creating an operational plan is to provide the workers of the organization named Mount Buller Ski Resort with a clear picture of the various tasks, roles and responsibilities so that these are in line with the organizational goals and objectives to be achieved. The objectives are included in the strategic plan, which creates ease in ensuring that the operational plan is implemented to accomplish the business goals and objectives with ease and effectiveness (mtbuller.com.au 2018).
The development and implementation of an operational plan considers the use of various legislations, laws, rules and regulations needed to manage the logistics and supply chain operations properly like the transportation activities, packaging and management of stocks. Mt. Buller ski resort is one of the major holiday destinations for people all over Australia that is nearest to the Melbourne airport and provides the clients with great scenic view and an enjoyable experience during their stay at the resort. There are effective transpiration facilities along with the management of safety measures, which has assured the customers about their well being and proper accommodation services at the resort, thus leading to proper hospitality management too. The shipment and transfer of individuals are managed by the Mansfield Mont Buller Bus Lines, which has been working under the contract of RMB. There are various legislation including the Fair Trading Act and Consumer Protection Act that have helped in delivering the best quality hospitality services to people and at the same time, prioritized on the safety of clients along with the health and wellbeing of the workers who are engaged with the delivery of services to the clients (Christopher 2016). Other legislations included for managing good hospitality services are Trade Practices Act and Environmental Protection Act which have assisted in conserving the environment and maintained an ecological balance in nature too. This has helped in promoting the Ecotourism campaign, which has maintained values, leadership aspects and even maintained the integrity through innovation and delivery of better customers’ services too. The business activities are managed sustainably with the implementation of Alpine Resorts Management Act, which considers the environmental aspects and maintained proper strategic plans too for ensuring meeting up to the clients’ expectations and higher revenue generation through proper management of logistics and supply chain activities too (Winter & Knemeyer 2013).
The ski resort in Mt. Buller has offered great scenery view and provided the visitors with a great experience during their stay at the resort. The resort authorities have maintained all the safety aspects and even implemented proper environmental laws, rules and regulations to maintain an ecological balance in nature as well. The consultative processes are managed with the involvement of various stakeholders associated with the business functioning including the investors or shareholders, employees, managers, Government and regulatory bodies. The RMB provided a handsome amount of money for providing assistance to the management of marketing efforts and maintain the alpine visitation campaign effortlessly through promotion of ecotourism as well. The ecotourism has been a major innovation of the hospitality service provider, which has not only helped in the management of wildflowers’ viewing, viewing of the mountains, skiing and bushwalking too (Islam et al. 2013). The licensing has been managed for ensuring successful business functioning and at the same time, monitored the environmental aspects and regularly checked whether the environmental aspects have been managed or not. To keep the visitors viewing the website consistently, the involvement of social media platforms is essential for increasing the numbers of followers and engage all the major stakeholders altogether in business for successful business functioning. This could not only make the organization capable of adjusting to changes, but also share or exchange relevant ideas and opinions required to meet the client’s expectations and ensure business growth, development and higher revenue generation (Mangan, Lalwani & Lalwani 2016).

During the consultation with various stakeholders, it was also found that few extra health and safety workers were needed because of the lack of health and safety, which caused few accidents creating threats and harm for the visitors. There is need of a new machine that can remove snow from the top of cottages within the ski resort. It is because with the accumulation of snow on the rooftops, it can be dangerous (Rushton, Croucher & Baker 2014).
I have been working as a tourism services coordinator and also as a marketing manager at Mount Buller Ski Resort (Aguirre & Goudge 2014). There are various group members and partners with whom I have been working for managing the business unit properly and ensure management of job positions properly. The resorts are managed for the creation of alpine as well as improve client satisfaction through deliverance of good quality hospitality services and with the partnership with other hospitality businesses like Bolle, Fox, etc. to promote the business and improve the brand image (mtbuller.com.au 2018). A proper business model is prepared to ensure successful functioning of the group and business unit.

The mission is to promote, develop and manage the resort in a sustainable manner for maintaining the ecological balance in nature and at the same time, make ecological and economic considerations. This will also allow using the resorts for alpine creation and for tourism facilities to improve the visitors’ experience and develop partnerships for increasing the scopes and opportunities too.
As a marketing manager, it is my duty to promote the Ecotourism campaign and ensure proper delivery of ski resort services considering the proper management of environmental aspects and keeping the environment safe (Seuring 2013). The consideration of safety aspects and keeping the environment have been the main focus, which has been the mission and vision statement of the organization to sustain in the competitive business environment.
S- To deliver the best quality ski services keeping in mind the protection of environment and conservation of natural resources
M- To ensure that the transportation of visitors to the location is done properly through considering that lesser harmful gases are emitted to keep the environment safe
A- To conserve the environment and natural resources so that a ecological balance in nature is maintained, which is the primary goal of the Ecotourism campaign
R- To improve the brand image and attract more customers while keeping in mind the health and safety of workers too though with the consideration of proper licensing structures
T- To ensure that the tourists are made to reach the destination on time and are provided with the right services to ensure satisfaction
The name of the project is Ecotourism campaign that has been managed by following the values of leadership, teamwork, communication, integrity, innovation and customer service. The typical climate of high altitude alpine resorts makes it favorable for viewing rare flowers and fauna. The focus of the project is to manage ecotourism through various activities like bushwalking, wildflowers viewing, mountain biking and skiing as well (Ahi & Searcy 2013). The business strategies are fulfilled by managing license to conduct organized tours and innovate the business aspects for future benefits.
The numbers of visitors in the website of the company, revenue generated and checking the environmental management and how much the environment has been kept safe are considered as major KPIs.

There are third party tools like the business partners that have promoted the brand and even made them aware of the services available. The key challenges could be the lack of enough time and money, because more and more tourists are visiting everyday, which may already harm the environment (Coyle et al. 2016).
