The name ‘Tim Tam’ came from the name of the winning horse of the derby of Kentucky 1958. Ian Norris gathered inspiration from British Penguin biscuit and created the Tim Tams that are heavily appreciated all over Australia. The Tim tams come in a variety of flavours such as the Chocolate cherry coconut, the iced coffee, the salted caramel and vanilla and others (arnotts.com 2019).
