The following report reflects on Easy credit organization which is considered to be one of the largest credit financing organization(Luengen and Hamilton, 2017). The head office of this organization is based in Melbourne and it comes with several branches through Australia. Customer of Easy Credit is no one but diverse group which comes with young people who are new to their professional life. The organization provides service to customer who does not have any kind of strong financial background. It also provides service to casual permanent employee and along with university student. Easy credit card products come up with both financial and insurance (Cantelon et al., 2014). Risk of Easy credit card customer is considered to moderate to high. Various analysts working for this organization upload all the files into Drive D.
In the coming pages of the report three most important parameters that are performance issue of file server, a social-technical approach for design and analysis of information system. The last section of the report mainly deals with ethics methodology. The first part of the report comprises of a problem situation, root definition of system, a conceptual model for proposed system and conceptual problem with a problem situation.
Problem Situation Unstructured
Easy credit which is based in Australia comes up with risk management analyst which is needed for sourcing data from various product (Zhao, Jegatheesan and Loon, 2015). At the end of each day,all the production system has the main function of loading data about balance files and account of various files which are shared and is known as Drive D. Various analyst come up with the idea of uploading files on their desktop by making use of Microsoft Excel. Here the main function is all about manipulating, data analyzing for the reports which are produced (Nan et al., 2014). In the last few years, this particular has grown in size so the batch of night files have grown from 500 Gb to 1.5 Tb. So, as a result, the overall performance of the given shared system has decreased to a large extent. In some scenario, it is seen that it has decreased due to availability of disk space on server. The analyst has uploaded the file due to poor performance with associated resources (Kozlov et al., 2018). All the employees of this organization have easy access to file server so both the privacy and security of customer has become an issue. . The annual growth rate of this bank is expected to be around 7-10 % each year. This particular organization comes up with risk management analyst which aims to provide required data from all the reports (Heckman, Schell and Reed, 2015). Each and every night the production system aims to load their activity and balance of file sharing.
Problem Situation Expressed

In most of the scenario, it is seen that various customers are unable to find credit which is provided in an Australian bank. It mainly takes place due to liquid, employment history. The total number of customers who come up with default loan has default rates of the given Australian bank
Root definition of relevant system
CATWOE stands for Customers, Actors, Transform process, worldview, owners and lastly environmental constraint (Calinescu et al., 2016). It is considered as a simple checklist which is needed for analyzing the solution to a problem. It aims to offer a certain number of solution and simulation of a large number of approaches. CATWOE analysis makes it very difficult for analyzinga certain number of problem areas. The analysis is used in understanding various kind of solution which is encountered from a large number of perspectives. CATWOE analysis helps in modifying solution which is needed for understanding some of the core areas which this easy credit wants to have. The provided solution can easily influence various stakeholders.
It is used for analyzing and solving various issues of business which come up with a large number of conflicts of interest (Isolani et al., 2015). By analyzing all the perspective of a given standpoint, it tends to offer an ethical framework which is needed for problem-solving. In the given scenario, CATWOE analysis has been done on the current system that is file server of Easy Credit.
A conceptual model for the proposed system
CATWOE analysis comes up with a large number of components that is customers, actors, transformational process, worldview, owners and last environmental constraints.
Customer:The customer in the given scenario is a bank and their employee and passengers are mainly affected by the change(Lee et al., 2014). In most of the scenario, Easy credit and their employees require to have and analyze the change. In this given sense, they can easily influence the overall change process.
Actors: The actors in this given scenario are team members of IT department of Easy credit(Xu and Swanson, 2016). They need to provide various kind of instruction which will minimize the issues of data storage.
Transformational:The whole process of storing information will change to a large extent
(Zhang and Swanson, 2015). At the files will be stored in data warehouse instead of local storage of the storage.
Worldview: From the perspective of customers, their vital information can be easily stored. The stored information cannot be accessed by an employee of Easy Credit anymore.
Owners: The owners of Easy Credit will be the stakeholders who focus on providing and denying any kind of permission with respect to data storage.
Environment Constraints:It is will be greatly affected due to this new kind of approach. Government and Data security policy will be greatly affected due to increased emission.
Conceptual problem with a problem situation
In the given scenario, analysts of Easy Credit can easily upload the files of their desktop by making used Excel(Mas et al., 2015). With the passage of time, Easy Credit has grown a lot in size so their night batch files have increased from 500 Gb to 1.5 Tb. As a result, the production executive has provided a slow delivery of reports along with missing unfair reports. In some scenario, it is seen that night batch files could not be loaded due to lack of availability of space on the file server. The analyst could not upload files due to poor performance which is associated with retention of resources (Khojah and Mannino, 2016). Easy Credit employees come up with various kind of file server and so the privacy and security of data of customerare considered to be one of the issues. So, In the decision has been made with respect to file management system and installing data warehouse. All the night files will be easily uploaded in the data warehouse and only risk analyst can access the required data from the warehouse.
Social-technical approach for system design and analysis
STST stands for a Socio-technical system which is widely used and applied in the domain of implementation of information system (Chevalier et al., 2015). It is applied in various aspects of user-based orientation and design. Socio-technical is being widely used in various kind of theoretical approach which does not have a proper understanding with respect to social thinkers. STST is being applied to a large number of views of acceptance which can easily change the context of this organization that is Easy Credit. In the current usage, it refers to the use of various kinds of views which is all about acceptance or any kind of resistance which can emphasize the organization context (Ferreira, de Almeida and da Silva, 2015). At present, there isa large number of software design methods which tends to affect the interfacing tools. Origins of the work are considered to be human factors which come with control panel and user design methods. Usability engineering is considered to be a well-known term which is required for providing a proper interface design. Usability can be sated as a contextual model which is totally based on efficiency, satisfaction and lastly effectiveness (Dageville et al., 2016). STST aims to share a number of understanding with respect to the user and his task. Empirical method can be easily used for analyzing the overall process of design. Socio-technical aims in providing a much greater place which focuses on stakeholder’s participation.
A data warehouse is considered to be a costly and ill-structure method which can look for clear motivation for anyone who is looking for some usable system. STST tends to offer no kind of clear advice on the idea of interference design (Khan and Hoque, 2015). STST aims to make no kind of claim on this particular instance and it tends to maintain the second order in this particular idea. There isa large number of dangers as associated with STST which is known to be worst and vague. It can ultimately increase the expectation of various designers of the system.
All the scientist and professional of HCI are very much engaged in having an understanding regarding the production and implementation of software (Spitzer, Ellsbury and Clark, 2015). It is mainly being used for importance from being offset. In the last 20 years, there has been a continuous improvement for having an understanding regarding the user center design. For the proper design of various aspects like usability, an individual can easily run various kind of emerging interface. It is mainly used for providing support for the level of performance (Su and Needamangal , 2017). The redesignis totally based on a certain number of recommendations being made by the tester. In this, the design is mainly tweaked and all the testing is done on acceptable performance scores which are found (Sohrabi. and Ghods, 2016). Usability is a well-known parameter but is considered to be an insufficient technology for acceptance. There isa large number of criteria for various aspects like efficiency, satisfaction which needs to be derived from social not from individual context. User-centric design should be engaged for some real users as much greater than participation of test (Dedi? and Stanier, 2016).In this particular drive, a large number of steps can be done like manipulation, data analysis. With the passage of time,Easy credit card has developed in size so that size of files has grown from 500 Gb to 1.5 Tb.
Part 3
Need for change
In the last few years, Easy Credit has developed and grown in size so that night batch files have developed from 500 Gb to 1.5 Tb in size. The performance of the file share system has decreased a lot. It becomes difficult for the loading of files due to unavailability of disk space on the given server (Theelet al., 2015). The employees of this organization can easily get an easy access to file server which is due to privacy and security of data which is considered to be a big problem. The personal data which is shared on the file server is expected to be around 500 GB.
A proper decision has been done with respect to changing the present file management system and installing it in the Datawarehouse (Iyer and Lakhtaria, 2017). All the given files will be uploaded in the warehouse and only risk analyst will be able to access it.
System boundaries
The CIO of this organization have agreed upon the fact that some of the systems may fail through the given crack and various kind of operational problem will be encountered(Zhong et al., 2015). In the last 18 months, it has become difficult for file server and various issues have been highlighted to the product executives. After the implementation of the data warehouse, all the risk associated with the given system can be dealt with in a much easy way. Only risk analyst can access the given system while no other employees of the organization can access data warehouse(Luengen and Hamilton, 2017). It will ultimately provide security to the vital data of the employee.
Description of the current system
The current file server is considered to be 5 years old. It claims to run on an operating system known as Windows XP which has a large number of issues (Cantelon et al., 2014). In the last 12 months, the business of this organization has grown to 10 %. The file server has been designed in such a way that it can only handle 500 GB of data but at present, it tends to handle around 1.5 Tb of data (Heckman, Schell and Reed, 2015). When the file server was deployed for the first time it had only 20 users but at present, it has around 50 users.
Description of key objectives, task, and output
The key objective of this organization is to store all the required data in much-secured way. Data warehouse concept has been consideredso that only risk analyst can access the required data. No other employee of the organization can access the data which was previously done on the file server (Zhao, Jegatheesan and Loon, 2015). Actually, there was no kind of control over the fact that who can access the file and who can store it. There are was no way out for analyzing the number of people who can access the file server at a single time.
The warehouse can be considered to be one of best solution as it can easily provide support for present usage of profile and can be easily scaled up (Nan et al., 2014). It is mainly done with additional CPU which comes up with file volumes and increasing the concurrency of user.
Analyzing efficiency needs
In the last few years, it has become difficult for keeping a track in last 18 months. Several discussion and meetings were held for analyzing issues of file server but no attention was being paid on the file server (Kozlov et al., 2018). The file server is considered to be 5 years old and runs on an old operating system. The size of batch files is considered to be huge and was mentioned due to lack of control on the resources and its server (Calinescu et al., 2016). In the beginning, the file server has been designed for providing support and storage to 500 Gb but at now the size of data files have increased to 1.5 Tb.
Job satisfaction needs
A data warehouse can easily provide satisfaction for job satisfaction like developing business intelligence, saving time, data quality and consistency and last high ROI. By allowing data from various sources, both manager and executive do not require to make a business decision by making use of limited data. All the stakeholders of Easy Credit can easily access information from any location (Isolani et al., 2015). Implementation of Datawarehouse requires conversion of given data from the various system into a required data format.
Future analysis
Data warehouse has come into picture for long-term value. Much of the given attention is made on building a team as many employees and organization depend on it(Lee et al., 2014). But with the passage of time, there has been a growing demand for data warehouse. It can no longer stand alone on the platform(Xu and Swanson, 2016). An analysis needs to be done with respect to placement, positioning of data warehouse in the architecture of data management. As a result, the overall performance of this system that is file share has decreased to a large extent. All the employees of Easy Credit can have easy kind of access for the various file server so as a result the privacy and security of customer data are compromised.
Efficiency of job satisfaction
Implementation of data warehousing in Easy credit can bring job satisfaction to the employees of the organization (Zhang and Swanson, 2015). It can provide a large number of benefits to the organization like a high rate of return on investment, competitive advantage, increase production of corporate decision making, cost-effective decision making and lastly better enterprise intelligence. So, Easy credit has taken a new step to make upgrading in the current file share system and to install data warehouse for it. All the required night batch files can be uploaded to be given data warehouse and various kind of risk analysts can easily access the file from warehouse. The warehouse will create a platform where analyst can easily store output from their performed analysis.
Conclusion
From the above pages of the report, it can be concluded that this report is all about Easy Credit which is known to be one of the largestcredits and finance organization of Australia. The customers of this organization are nothing but a diverse group of people which has young professionals and people who do not have well-established credit card history. The total number of customers of this organization who are on loans are much higher than default rates of various Australian banks. Easy credit comes up with variable pricing which ranges from their product to product. At present, the organization has a risk analyst who sources data for various reports and from different reports. The organization has different kind of production system who come up with daily, account and balance files which need to be shared. The files are shared in a drive known as D drive. Various analyst can easily upload the required files on their individual desktop by making use of Microsoft Excel. The excel can be used for preparing, manipulation and data analysis for various kind of report which is produced. The organization has grown and so the batch files have developed from 500 GB to 1.5 Tb.
