The story opens with the mother of the protagonist (Cheeky Monkey) asks him to fetch her a banana from the forest. The monkey himself could not collect the banana as he was small. Therefore, he asked for the help from his friends. As he approached to his friends, each and every of them wanted to hear the ‘first word’, which was supposed to be conferred along with the statement that was made by the protagonist. This goes on until the monkey gets frustrated and shouts out the word “please…”, which was supposed to be a confirmation of the request made by the monkey. His friends came to his aid at the end of the story and thereby the narrative ends.
