From that moment of entrance, I could hear all the voices. Those of the ants whispering their daily deed, birds singing a hymn, carpenters praying, “God gives us our daily bread”, the merry man questioning sadness, e’en the priest confessing his past. Upon his first step, the lilies were shouting and immediately t53urnt into hideous beings. When he lifted his left leg the dust sped up under his shoe and swung into our house by the window. Motionless I reposed in the other room.
Through his second step, the bird began cursing him, forgetting the priest and dying in the church. Sadness made the merry man wonder and swallowed it. On the third step he squashed the ants and dust particles were evading him. On the fourth step, the carpenter who had his workshop near the church heard of the priest’s death and shouted, “if you killed your best servant in this holy day, thus kill me too” and set on his wooden structures on fire and burnt in the middle.
Yet unforgiven of suicide. On the fifth step, he reached the door. It was then that the moment that I was in a position of unconsciousness and fell unconsciously asleep. My body was asleep not the soul. I could hear the mother inviting him in. I could hear in a way that words could enter mine ears but no actions I could do. Words with no action. Mr. Colin didn’t go on to be a sign of disturbance, but he boldly stated these words and went, “Isn’t this the gloss of life to glow in unity?”.
He paused and then continued, “I see you imprisoned by time, sewing you I see. Mother looked into the room I resided and thought I had fallen asleep. She called upon Mr. Colin to talk to by the door. At the present moment I do not remember but it was somewhere on the topic, she told him not to love the words; “Neither you are at my age nor if I was I would accept your proposal. Neither would my child allow me, nor if I did not have him I would accept your proposal”. She advised him not to come here ever again. He wanted to continue his gibberish words but his mother pushed him out and locked the door. Truly those weren’t the words that contaminated my mind, it was the succeeding event. Mr. Colin worked for the government, he had to enter the seminar today and talk about the problems. What are their problems, their actions or ours?
Two hours after his departure, at six in the evening, I could move. Immediately I jumped and rushed towards my mother. She was sleeping at the moment. Mother mysteriously woke up and was puzzled out to know that I’ve heard of it, alas she didn’t question me. First, I tried to inveigh with her but then these lines were going on in my head and clamed me down. Then, I tried to persuade her to let me go with Mr. Colin. Just in words, nothing more. I ran towards the seminar, it was an hour away from us. As I ran through, my lab friend, Walt, ironically said, “Swiftly, Swiftly fly little damned creature I’ll take you on a plane if you give me my share of the share”.
When I reached there the seminar had ended. The discrepancy I faced wasn’t the way I fancied meeting him. The officials laughingly came out. They wore a lavish garments and with their flamboyant fragrance came near the bushes where I hid. It was not a good idea to quarrel with Mr. Colin about that matter. I didn’t want people to talk about my mother anymore. I’ve had enough. Two of the officials stood where I hid and then one said, “Old Colin is on a bad luck roll, you should take more time into consideration”. Replied the other, “An ancient man he looks by.”
