Without warning, the lights went dark. This was the moment I had been waiting for. My entire body was shaking of excitement. The time had finally come that I would get to see and hear my favorite singer of all times and live “Cline Dion”. Cline Dion is one of the music worlds legendary. She started her career in her homeland back in 1980 singing French songs and little by little with the help of her husband she became one of the most famous singers in the world.
Today, after so many successful albums and music award she has her own show in Las Vegas for years.
I had never really been to a big show that had a well-known singer “Cline Dion”. A few days before the event I got some information about it, but really didn’t think much of it. I talked with my husband about it and we decided to get tickets for it. Little did I know what a wonderful time I would have in Vegas.
We booked our hotel, bought our flight tickets, and purchased the tickets for the show. We arrived at our hotel around 3 PM, we got to our room and got ready to have an early dinner before the show. We arrived about half an hour early so the place was just starting to fill up with fans from all over the country, it was like a dream came through. As I walked closer and closer to the theater, I felt my heart beating so fast from the excitement.
‘I’m about to hear a singer that I have enjoyed listening to ever since I was ten years old.’ I thought to myself.
Walking into the theater, handing my ticket to the ticket man, I watched as workers running back and forth trying to make sure everything was perfect and ready for the upcoming show. In one of the corners of the building, there were posters, CD’s, clothing, key chains, and lots of other visually appealing items on the tables for us to purchase. I lined up with other fans to buy some souvenirs to remember this amazing experience.
As the crowd built up, it moved towards the doors that led into the actual theater. We took our seats waiting for the show to start. The background music was beautiful and heard all over the theatre form the speakers hanging on the ceiling. Behind those massive curtains,’ there was a thrilling adventure about to start. It was breathtaking, the show started with Cline Dion coming down from up the ceiling in a beautifully decorated swing singing one of her big hit songs. While she hits the floor, she positioned herself in the middle of the stage and continued to sing with her heavenly voice. Behind her, the dancers were dancing and repeating some parts of the songs.
In the end, she said her farewells, sang one last song, and then left the stage. Well, at least we thought she did. As soon as she left the stage everyone in the audience starts shantung and yelling, ‘We want more! We want more!’ repeatedly for a few minutes. She ended up coming back on stage and executing one final song from the Titanic movie. It was very nice and awesome of her to do another song like that for us and show us how much she cares about her fans.
When the final song was over, everyone was applauding nonstop for a good five minutes, and the stage was cleared, the lights abruptly came on. Everyone started to leave the theater. I still wanted to hear more of her music and songs, but just as she had come out, she then left, in the same way, leaving me glued to my seat adjusting this whole experience. My excitement was still on a high point even as we got to our vehicles.
‘This was definitely an awesome experience for me,’ I told my husband. really hope that I can do it again.’, he then replied: “sure, next year for our anniversary, we will come back to see her.”
