What would the world be like if everyone was pessimistic? Would there be anyone who would do anything when they already knew that it was unlikely to have a positive result? I try to visualize the world where everyone has no hope about the future, and because of that, they misuse the present. I imagine life full of failures, living without thinking about any success, any goals and dreams, and of course this is the origin of misery for the whole lifetime!
I believe that optimism makes my future bright since it makes me have dreams and set goals for my future.
It builds confidence in me, calm me to do things properly because I really know what I want, hence my dreams become true, and I become very successful. Frankly, I am a coward only for a short time when I know that something I’m about to do is troublesome, but then I pick up my optimism and I become brave.
When I was in sixth grade, I was still young, and when something was complicated, I wished to never do it.
When I remained with a few days until the national exam, I felt confused and terrified because many people had told me that it is always very difficult. So I started wishing to go to secondary school without doing it because I thought I will fail. One day I was talking to my little brother about abandoning that exam, and my big brother heard me. He began talking to me, advising, and convincing me why I should do it.
He told me that I have to learn how to face challenges without anyone to help me.
He asked me, “Do you think any secondary school will accept you without national exam results? ”, or “Will you be accepted to a good school without passing with high grades? ” I always dreamt about attending the best school in the whole country, and I knew that to be possible I must pass national exam with high grades. I was convinced, and started to study with courage. The time came; I sat for my national exam with the assurance that I would pass well.
When the results were exhibited, I had excelled, and got the school I wished that helped me to study well for the sake of my future. How would my life be now if I had remained pessimistic and never taken the national exam? What a life full of sorrow because of losing hope for the future! I think my brain will be troubled and makes me to commit suicide. Optimism motivates me to prepare my future by setting goals and achieve them. I strongly believe that optimism makes my future bright.
