In this current era of technology automated system has become one of the most vital solutions for the business organizations to gain competitive advantages and structured commercial revenue as well. It is necessary for any business organization to design an automated Information System for their company to resolve previous security and manual data entry level errors. For this specific report the chosen case project is “Implementation of Information system in Woolworths Limited”.
The targeted company is required to convert their traditional data management system into an automated data system. For the chosen case project a project charter considering a systematic literature review will be illustrated. In addition to this, a WBS and a schedule plan is also developed for the case project that has to be designed. Not only this but also a network diagram for the project is also represented in this report.

Based on the project details the most suitable project development life cycle should be adopted by the project managers. Among the most widely used project development lifecycles agile, spiral, waterfall are mostly used.
The iterative waterfall model cannot proceed further if the previous stage is successfully completed rather all testing and modification should be done at the same design phase. The chances of defect multiplication can be completely reduced with this model. As compared to other models this is much effective from the business perspectives. Thus, among these models the company should adopt the iterative waterfall model.
