This assignment is consisting of information and analysis on the information regarding the VOIP system implementation at Home-Away-From- Home. The assignment provides detailed description of the VOIP system requirements, as per site also along with VOIP system implementation details. The implementation of the VOIP system in Home-Away-From- Home will be done by connecting the telecommunication medium to the core system. This way the data collection and customer relationship management process can be enhanced.

Detailed Description of the System: The organization be implementing the VOIP system for connecting various parts of the organization. The communication enhancement will be the primary purpose of this system. Encryption security measures will be implemented into the organizational environment so that data transmitted through the system cannot be read by the cyber criminals even if the data is theft (Enck et al. 2014). The system will be connected to the main database of the organization. An instance will be saved for the recording of data transmitted through the VIOP system path. Not all the data will be saved in the database, only the mail and chat related data will be stored. The hardware firewalls will be used within VOIP system for better protection. The intranet communication medium will be established through the LAN or Local Area Network. The VOIP system will connecting the computers of the hotels so that communication among the devices can be done free of cost.

Gathering Requirements: These requirements are two kinds, such as business and VOIP system requirements. The business analyst is responsible for gathering the business related requirements. The system analyst analyses the business requirements and generate the system requirements for VOIP system (Hsiao et al. 2014). The VOIP system requirements are of two types such as functional and non-functional requirements.
Hardware and Software Requirement: The hardware and software requirements of the VOIP system will be gathered based on the analysis of the designs. Installation of Windows 10 operations system within the computer systems. Installation of data access and retrieval software in the core system.
Information Requirement: The identification of the data and information, based on which the processes of the VOIP system will be done. The customer data, payment data, legal requirements, hotel rooms, staff and many more.
Facilities Requirement: The business analyst, VOIP system analyst, HR manager, coder, tester, database developer, network engineer, website developer, application developer and many more (Coronel and Morris 2016).
Description of Implementation:
The implementation process will be consisting of VOIP system design, intranet connection implementation, communication medium device implementation. In addition to that, the VOIP system implementation will consisting of testing and deployment.
Major tasks of the VOIP system implementation are requirement gathering, designing, development, testing and deploying. Within the implementation phase, the connection of the computers and network printers with the local server with each hotel will be established first. After that, the local server will be connected to the main system server in the head office.
The VOIP system will be implemented for the first time in the Home-Away-From- Home environment. The deployment will be direct deployment. At first, identification of deployment audience is very crucial. After identification of the end users, operation employee and support employee, the responsible person will recognize the suitable deployment strategy (Ku 2014).
