The issues which are analyzed while working in the kitchen are many:
1) Slippery Floors: Water or oil can make the surface of the kitchen slippery. It creates a hazard for the person working in the kitchen. So use the non slip flooring material or mats which gives safety to the working in the kitchen.
2) Dangerous equipments: The accidents mainly occur by the use of dangerous equipments. The person who knows how to cook should do the work in the kitchen otherwise they should first train themselves under supervisor. The person who uses the kitchen equipment like knives or food processors should always wear cut resistant gloves that can give protection to the person who is indulge in cooking.
3) Heavy lifting: By lifting heavy things it can result in sprain. So the support belts should be used and also the person should have the training of lifting the heavy items. The person who is lifting heavy item should keep their head up, Back straight and should lift the load with their leg muscles. When keeping the items down the person should use leg muscles not their backs.
4) Burns: It is common hazard which can take place in the kitchen easily. Like hot oil splashing, Clothes catching fire. So the person working in the kitchen should have the knowledge to use the cooking equipment safely and also they should avoid burns. They should not overcrowd the pans on top of cooking surface. They should use proper safety equipment like gloves or hot pads (Gunningham and Johnstone, 2008).
The workplace injury should be reported to the supervisor of the department so that proper actions can be taken in effective manner.

1) Attendance
2) Accident reports.
The employer’s responsibility should be:
1) Proper first aid facilities should be provided to the employees.
2) The employer should ensure that the plant and machinery is safe to use.
3) The emergency plans should be set up properly.
4) There should be right equipment provided which should be used and regulated properly.
5) Proper health supervision should be given to the employees working in the organization.
Training related with equipment: This topic should be included in the WHS policies and procedures. It gives enhancement in the knowledge of the workers or employees working in the organization.
Support mechanism: Support mechanism should be included so that it gives assistance to the workers working in the organization.
Machinery: The OHS policies and procedures should include the description of the machinery and health policies which are concerned with the employees or the workers working in the organization. Proper description should be made regarding the machinery used in the workplace and proper measures which should be implemented by the workers working the company (Noe, 2002).
The employer’s responsibility is to give protection to the workers working in the organization. The employer should consult the workers or the employees who are working in the organization about the health and safety issues. The employer only has the duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of their workers and provide adequate assistance to the workers working in the organization (Brown and Sitzmann, 2011).

The main purpose of WHS committee is provides and enhances the communication between the workers and management on health and safety issues. The committee main focus is to provide safety and to solve the issues which are related with the policies of development, training programs and many others.
The WHS committee is formed by five or more workers working at the workplace and they request the person to conduct a business and take into consideration the members who are responsible towards the organization. The role of committee member is determined by analyzing the skills and qualifications which is required for conducting operations of the business in effective manner (Eckersberg, 2007).
The hazard analysis and risk assessment is conducted by following many steps:
1 Step: Establishing analysis parameter: The parameter focuses on the working of the machine and it limits the scope of analysis.
2 Step: Identify Hazards: It is a step of brainstorming.
3 Step: Assess risks: It includes two factors that are severity of injury and probability of occurrence.
4 Step: Derive risk rating: The risk can be reduced by taking measures which are protective.
5 Step: Reduce risks: There are many hazards which are taken into consideration to reduce risk and that are warn the users, Train the users and use protective equipment.
6 Step: Verifying the effectiveness: It takes into consideration the remedy actions that can reduce the risks at many levels.
7 Step: Results of document: The file can be used to verify in the future use (MacGregor, 2009).
Hazard analysis and risk assessment helps to find out the drawbacks which are there in the operations. Once the organization take into consideration the ways to control the hazards it can achieve its goals and objectives easily. There are many methods from which the methods are grouped in categories like administrative control, engineering control.
The hazards can be reported by using written form of communication. The instructions should be pasted on the notice board so that every employee working in the organization can easily access to it.
The injured person should inform the supervisor of the area immediately after the incident happens. The incident report should be filled with the supervisor within 24 hours of the incident. The report is completed by the supervisor of the injured worker. The documents should be forwarded to the safety and emergency department as soon as possible for administrative purposes.
The training must be organized for staff because it enhances the motivation level of employees and provide knowledge to perform and complete the task in effective manner so that organizational goals and objectives can be achieved in effective manner.
It is important because it will train the employees and also helps in using machine guarding, operation of machinery and tools, risk assessment and incident investigation. It will also help to know the matrix training which is important for the employees and also for their job position. It gives safety analyses and also many legislative requirements which is required for the workers (Krause,Fox and Judson,2012).
Employees should:
1) Procedure of safety should be followed.
2) The employees should not remove the machine guards.
3) The employees should not misuse anything which is provided by the employer that helps in workplace safety.
4) The employees should not behave in a way that puts themselves or any other person at risk.
We must go to the trainee and inform and enhance the knowledge to use the equipment which will provide safety to them and will tell the trainee to use it while conducting any task.
If the employee is engage in the work activities that are harmful for the worker then it can affect the health of the workers and can also cause the dangerous disease which can affect the working of the employee and also it can affect the goals and objectives of the firm.
They should report directly to the supervisor of the area. They should not wait for the inspection team to come. The supervisor can take actions regarding health and safety of the workers in the organization. Hazards can be reported in verbal and also by filling up the form which are easily available at the bulletin board.
The head chef should warn the worker and give punishment so that he can obey the instructions of the head chef easily and the employee should also consider the instructions which is given by the worker so that the worker remain safe and enhance their level of productivity and can easily achieve goals and targets of the organization.
The consequences to a business can be the workers will go on strike. They will not work with proper dedication and the workers who are working in the organization will not be able to give their best towards their work. So the main drawback for the company will be the company will not be able to achieve their goals and targets of the organization.
The policies should be:
1) There should be proper management in the hotel so that customer can get maximum satisfaction from the services.
2) The data should not be disclosed of the guest and also the key should not be given too unknown person.
The risk assessment form should include the job actions which are taken into consideration and also the risk which can affect the working of the employees.
The common way to use WHS consultation is by the workers only. The workers can implement the procedures on the daily working pattern. The worker can take into consideration different techniques to complete the task on time.
The risk of each hazard is taken into consideration by following factors like regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and by using the data of the workers according to the work.
The training should be administered by the staff because it gives enhancement in the working pattern of the employees and also increases the level of satisfaction so that they can work with full dedication and can also enhance the knowledge of themselves (Feldman and Klaas, 2011).
Safety training: Training which is provided to the worker to minimize accidents and damages and also to use the safety devices properly.
Promotional training: It gives training to the workers to perform at high level and also the employees who possess are the qualification are selected and given training so that they work in effective manner.
Remedial training: It should be given to the employees working in organization to enhance the performance of the old members and it is conducted by psychological experts only.
