The use of the cloud computing in the business organization has been gaining importance in the market. The cloud solution has provided various facilities to the business organization in the market.
This report deals with the FURFS+ and the non-functional requirements of it. This report discusses the strength and weaknesses of the cloud based solution in the Headspace Project. The SDLC approach of the cloud-based solution has been described in the report.
This report outlines the importance of the cloud solution in the company. The advantages and limitations of the adaptive SDLC approach for this project in the company. The two different SDLC approach including
The cloud computing has proven in providing quality solution to the business organization in various fields. The cloud storage has helped in maintaining huge volume of data and information for the business organization in the market the use of the cloud-based solution in the workplace the use of the cloud solution has provided flexibility in the organizational structure (Colombo et al., 2014). The applications, services and models utilized with the help of internet using cloud computing. The gathering of huge amount of data and information has always been a big problem in handling by business organization. In this case, the Headspace project is a medical project undergone for the mental patients in the society (Helo et al., 2014). There has been various problems maintaining the project in Australia. This project provide care services mentally, socially and emotionally. The vision of the project has been always well-being if the people in the society. The project has been enlarging in the society by using the cloud computing services. The strategic functions of the project has been enhanced by the use of the cloud-based services in the market (Abolfazli et al., 2014). The use of the cloud computing in the project has helped in online providing care services to the people and maintaining their health. This has also helped in reaching up to maximum number of people in the market (Emami, 2016). The cloud-based solution have developed various solutions that have helped in reducing the complexity of the company in the market. Various projects of the company has been completed successfully using the cloud-based solution.
The Non-Functional requirements on the business organization deals with the constraints and qualities. The qualities are characteristics of the system, which are acknowledged by the stakeholders for affecting the degree of their satisfaction (Rodrigues et al., 2013). The constraint is the restriction on the degree of freedom during providing a solution at the organizational level. The use of the FURFS has helped in understanding these constraints in the headspace project.
The FURFS Model is used to measure the quality of the software and project. The Headspace project has able to use this model in the project. The elements of the model has been discussed below:
It can be surveyed by assessing the list of capabilities and capacities of the program, the simplification of the capacities that are conveyed, and the security of the general framework (Tsymbal et al., 2914). Useful prerequisites characterize all framework engineering highlights and functionalities important to run the framework. These prerequisites are discover and refined amid iterative discourses with the client.
It is surveyed by considering human elements, general style, consistency, and documentation. The ease of use prerequisites concentrate on client needs.

(Source: Saptarini, Rochimah & Yuhana, 2017, pp. 131)
It is assessed by measuring the recurrence and seriousness of disappointment, the exactness of yield comes about, the interim to-disappointment (MTTF), the capacity to recuperate from disappointment, and the consistency of the program (Hanandeh et al., 2017). Unwavering quality necessities characterize the dependability of the last item. This incorporates disappointment recurrence, information recoverability, and consistency of the framework.
It is measured by preparing speed, reaction time, asset utilization, throughput, and productivity (Kumar & Singh, 2016). Execution prerequisites incorporate throughput data, framework reaction time, exactness, and asset utilization.
It joins the capacity to expand the program extensibility, flexibility, serviceability. These three qualities speak to a more typical term, practicality. Moreover, testability, similarity, configurability, the simplicity with which a framework can be introduced, and the straightforwardness with which issues can be limited (Jain & Joshi, 2016). Supportability prerequisites incorporate flexibility, practicality, and configurability.
Therefore, the FURPS is a hierarchical model that helps in defining elements of the organizational model. The first four quality factors of the model are aimed towards operator and user and last factor deals with the developers and testers. The main purpose of the FURPS is to decompose and checklist for the requirements of quality.
There are various advantages of the cloud-based solution in the business organization:
The cloud-based services are cost efficient services. This helps in minimizing the initial cost of the business organization in the market (Warth et al., 2017). The cloud computing services helps in providing services at low cost. The initial cost of the Headspace project becomes low with the help of cloud-based solution to various operations in the project.
The services provided by the cloud computing are reliable in nature. The cloud services are reliable and consistent that helps in improving the performance of the company and the project (Tabassum et al., 2017). The use of the cloud solution have helped in maintaining the accuracy of the procedure used in the project. Therefore, it provides appropriate solution on the completion of the project. The headspace project has able to enhance the performance of the project in the market.
The services and solutions provided by the cloud computing are scalable that helps in paying the amount according to usage of the cloud services (Lee & Chin, 2017). The use of the cloud services are maintained by the business organization in order to avail services of the cloud.
On the other hand, there are several disadvantages of the cloud-based solutions (Saxena & Upadhyay, 2016). There is a huge risk of unavailability due to access of the internet. The data and information stored over the cloud cannot be accessed in the unavailability of the internet (Rai & Virk, 2017). There is a huge risk of cyber-attacks over the cloud service provider. The server if the cloud can be hacked by the hackers. Al the data and information can be accessed.
The two types of approach for SDLC are predictive and adaptive approach respectively. The predictive methodologies can be used in the Waterfall model that discusses a clear set of goals for the project (Gupta, Ahlawat & Sagar, 2017). The waterfall model is a systematic process and a predictive behavior. The strength of the predictive approach is that it focuses on the structure if the project by maintaining a holistic vision of solution in the management. The use of the waterfall model can be used in the project in which the time is long (Arora & Arora, 2016). The disadvantages of the model is that it is time taking model as it is a systematic process. On the other hand, adaptive approach refers to breaking the project into small components according to the timeline fixed for the project (Batcheller et al., 2017).
Figure 2: Waterfall model
(Source: Shah, 2016, pp. 4)
Figure 3: Agile Model
(Source: Modi, Singh & Chauhan, 2017, pp. 9)
The outputs of the project are not planned due to the incremental nature of the approach. The agile model is suitable for the adaptive approach (Munasinghe & Perera, 2016). The challenge in this model is to remain flexible and open for any change in the procedure and approach of completing the project in time (John & Swapna, 2017). Therefore, there is a least chance of predicting the outcomes of the agile model. In this case, the headspace project requires agile methodology as this is a fast process (Kazim, 2017). There is no requirements of asking the client many times. The project is break down into small components that helps in reducing the complexity of the project (Pagare et al., 2017). The outcome of the project is fast and provide the result in minimal amount of time. The completion of the project is short as compared to the Waterfall model. Therefore, the headspace project needs to use the agile model and adaptive methodology.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that use of cloud based solution in the headspace project have helped in completing the project within time. The efficiency and flexibility of the project has been enhanced by using the cloud-based solution. Various benefits and limitations of the cloud-based solution has been discussed in the report. Different perspective of the cloud-based solution has been depicted in the report. The FURFS model has been described in the context of the headspace project and utilizing the benefit of the model in the context. The use of the SDLC approaches has been focused. The agile model and waterfall model has been analyzed that helps in identifying the correct model for the headspace project.
