Social research methodology includes both quantitative and qualitative data analysis process. However, the qualitative data collection method includes observation via conducting the unstructured and semi-structured interview (Carlberg 2014). On the other hand, the quantitative method is based on the quantifiable evidence by accumulating reliable and valid data (Westmarland 2001). In the qualitative method, observation of social phenomena has been taken to reveal the importance of the social research. Social research has various significances one of the major elements is to detect the solution of different social problems. However, in the recent years, the social problems like child labor, gender discrimination, and poverty affect the growth of the society. Identification of the social problem and development of the social planning are the major outcomes of the social research. In order to run the society smoothly, the social obstacle needs to be reduced. For this reason, a proper social research is required, which will reduce the social evil from the society.
Various social incidents like child labor affect the growth of the children and it is a current issue of the world. Social research is a good way to highlight on such current issue and creating awareness in the society regarding such specific issue (Blaikie and Priest 2017). However, to create a society social research is crucial as it develops the thinking capacity of the individuals and boosts their confidence level. On the other hand, poverty is another social problem in the recent years. However, by using quantitative and qualitative research methods in the social investigation such problem can be identified. Hence, social research reveals the social problems and creates awareness in the society to develop the specific solution for such specific problems.

Such change in the society is a major outcome of the social research. To improve the living standard of the society, growth is crucial and it can be obtained from the social research. Bringing improvement in the social life is the main activity of the social research (Moser and Kalton 2017).
Social control is the crucial outcome of social research. In order to run a society smoothly, control is essential. Individuals conduct social research to implement social order and control of the society (Neuman and Robson 2014). Often the social life of the people become critical and different issues like discrimination, harassment and racism occur between the people. In order to tackle such situation social control is important, which can be implemented by social research. Social research is responsible for the social welfare. However, it is important to mitigate the social evils from the society; the process of social research is associated with the social welfare. Social investigation enhances the social awareness by distributing social knowledge that develops the society and the academic field. In the research study, social research gives the introduction of new techniques. As a result, the researcher improves the old techniques by replacing it with new techniques. This will be helpful for the research study to understand the method through which modern research can be done (Hepburn and Bolden 2017). Hence, social research has a good contribution in both social life and academic life to bring improvements in these two sectors.
The above study highlights on the importance of the social research. However, it has been found that the main purpose of the social study is to identify the social problems and to propose a possible solution of such problems. It has been received that current social problem such as poverty, racism, child labor is the major social issues, which can be uncovered by the social research. On the other hand, social research methodology includes quantitative and qualitative research. Therefore, internet and focus group analysis are other major tools of social investigation. In order to bring the changes in the old social structure social study is an effective approach. Therefore, it can be concluded that social research not only makes the society but also brings development in the academic filed by generating awareness among the individuals.
