There are numerous system and areas which utilizes and requires the implementation of IT to work effectively. They can be named as diagnosis system, health monitoring system, medical treatment for patient care, pharmaceutical research and development program, optimizing the performance of the clinical system, and many others. “The IT fundamentals are used for improving the communication system of the health organization” (Kevin, 2015).
“Integrity, reliability, and availability of data are the key attributes which are required for the implementation program of IT in the working curriculum of the enterprise” (Quarchli, 2014). The facilities and services provided to the customers can be improved by using the technology of IT in the area of simulators used for human patient, computer assisted learning program, virtual reality environment, advanced technology used in life support system, managing the electronic health record system, computerised order entry for the physician, and many more. “The capability of the IT system depends on retrieval of information, reliability, accessibility, accuracy and timely availability of data and information” (Ofili, 2014). The on-demand data is available for analysing the physical condition of the data from the record stored in the database of the health system.
The real time flow of communication can be maintained between the patient and the expert of health informatics and professionals to online and instant treatment of the disease without having any physical assistance.
