The tax system and laws of this country are straightforward which is designed for the purpose of helping companies and businessmen in growth. It has been analyzed that today every kind of business assist of a professional business consultancy organization and it is because of the different policies and working methodology of each company. The role of the innovation is vital for developing a supportive environment and before developing and implementing an organizational development initiative to stimulate new ideas and develop client-focused innovation.
The main purpose of this assignment is to develop new ideas for bringing change in the environment of working of Consultancy Company. Along with that the purpose of Mr. Yusof Hoe is to know about the perception of the staff towards changes in the organization due to innovation.
The scope of the research proposal is to determine if executing new innovation into the ordering process at Singapore Consultancy Company would improve the experience of the customers.
The findings will be resolute by qualitative data and knowledge and the understanding of these findings will be decisive. The research is limited up to suggested topic which will be another limitation for the research.
Innovation has become the important for every kind of industry to get growth in a significant way. Singapore Consultancy Company needs to focus on number of aspects in order to bring innovation within the business. It has been found that many consultancy company of Singapore is working on old technology that is why it is vital for the company to focus on latest technology so that the company can attain the objectives and sustain in the competitive market. It has been found that the management consulting is a $250 billion industry and it is about to be disrupted. There are more than 700,000 consulting firms that provide services all around the globe (Tragler, 2018). Singapore management consulting companies have become the vulnerable to disruption when it turns well-established in its long term resolutions and the structure related to the financial. The major problem with the innovation in the management consulting company is to consider the both aspect and point of view of employees and customers towards innovation. The feature of disruptive innovation is to provide smaller solutions in proper manner to the remaining issues, helped by latest technology at a lower cost.
The decision that this research proposal will assist with is:
Management Consulting is considered as the process in which the consultant analyzes and evaluates the functioning and structure of a company as an entire part of its segment, to analyze strategies as well as opportunities to develop the efficiency of the company in the management level. According to Richter, Dickmann and Graubner, (2008), the business of management consultancy is increased day by day in the last few decades and the employment in many countries increased due to execution of the management consultancy. It has been found that business has grown up around 41% and the income of the companies operating in the industry has grown around 37%. It has been found that initial step of the consultant is to recognize the issues regarding to policy, organization, strategy, methods, procedure and organization. This is made by taking interviewing the client (Lee, et. al., 2015). It can be done many times that the client recognized the issue in an earlier but they do not know about the solution of the specific issue. In such condition, the second step of the management consultancy is to create propositions for course of action through executing various ways of analysis and verification.
In the context of the case study, it is required for the business to focus on the innovation so that the company can satisfy the customer. It has been analyzed that many consultancy companies of Singapore has started to keep focus on the innovation to get attention of the customers towards the services. Services organizations are amplifying maintaining the sites of deliberate try to innovate in order to bring improvement in the efficiency. This would be helpful in reflecting the changes in the structure of competition in number of services markets. The company can invent the natural language processing in their system as it helps in analyzing the written languages for the purpose of finding the patterns and insights. For instance, this technology has the ability to show the sentiment of social media postings. At the time of working ion such software, it would be easy for the consultants to help clients to realize how their brands and products might be apparent by their customers. This software is helpful in examining brand reputation or stock analysis (Obeidat, Al-Suradi, Masa’deh and Tarhini, 2016).
It has been found that there are some factors which should be considered while making changes within the organization that are responsible for the motivating the respondents. These are outdated businesses strategies, new emphasis on quality and customer complaints, along with the strategies and innovations of competitors moved out to be the effective integral external component of change (Bitner, Patr?cio, Fisk and Gustafsson, 2015).
By considering the scenario of Singaporean management consulting company, it is needed by t e new employee to consult with other employees regarding the change within the organization so that the company can perform in better way. According to North and Kumta, (2018), team work can enhance the productivity of the business and help in bringing new ideas for making improvement in the operation. It is required for the management consultancy to have a qualified management consultant who should be qualified in professional way to make sure that projects are executed by the company in an effective manner and that too without any obstacles. Involvement of the employee in making decision regarding innovation is vital as it is entire dependent on the size of the company and nature of the business. It has been found that there are many management consultancies that are working on projects which are spreading in geographically diverse locations. The consultancy can focus on the training and development program in which the company can provide the entire information about the amendments to the employee in a practical way.
According to Shearmur, Doloreux and Laperrière, (2015), the question arises whether an external expert is needed to evaluate the project which can be done by the management employee. Ibert and Müller, (2015), argued that that the role of the consultants is free from the influence of the management and duress. It has been found that firms and organization have faith over the consultancy that they will provide transparency in the reports and will provide fair information to the company regarding the project. likely wise, there are so many companies that face issue in handling huge projects and in order to accomplish them they hire consultants for not wasting the huge time on it. It is the responsibility of the consultancy firm to accomplish the task by involving latest innovation in their work (Poulfelt, Olson, Bhambri and Greiner, 2017).
Innovation can be done within the organization by taking consideration of point of view of each employee in which the group discussion can be made. It would be better if Yusof Hoe create presentation by including all requirement of the change within the process. It would be helpful in bringing better understanding about the required change within the process in which each employee can keep their perception regarding the change.
There are various kinds of research design that aids in designing the research project. There are three kinds of research design that is exploratory design, descriptive research design and casual research design. In the context of the exploratory research design, it is helped in developing ideas in condition of the ill defined hypothesis. It is helpful in diagnosing the concerns along with the screen the alternatives. The major strength of exploratory research design is to develop insights and handle the concerns related to the research project. In contrast, descriptive research design is made to represent the summary of relevant aspects of the environment at the time of having the tentative nature of hypothesis (Ioannidis, et. al., 2014).
On the other hand descriptive research design is designed to present a summary of some factors of the environment when the hypotheses are cautious and tentative in nature. It is unable to make the link between the factors. The strength of the descriptive design within the research is accurate description. For this research paper, the use of exploratory and descriptive research designs have been taken as exploratory helped researcher to collect the information about the management issues. The characteristics of individual as well as group can be understood in better way with the help of the descriptive research design.
There are major two methods of collecting the information that is primary research and secondary research. Both method of the research has been chosen by the researcher regarding the chosen topic. Primary data collection technique has helped researcher to get direct interaction with people in order to know their perceptions and views regarding the innovation in the management consultancy companies (Smith, 2015). The knowledge can be developed in depth and theoretical way regarding the research concerns. The researcher helped to gather the data from number of sources like books, websites, articles and journals in order to improve the reliability of research outcomes (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault, 2015).
Qualitative and quantitative approaches are considered under this research proposal which would be facilitated in drawing the conclusion (Trumpp, Endrikat, Zopf and Guenther, 2015). For this research, independent and dependent are two major variables which can be manipulated by the researcher. Dependent variable is the performance of the organization which can be changed by making changes within the consultancy due to innovation.
The data can be gathered by taking help of the primary and secondary data collection method and for this research both methods have been taken in to consideration (Tashakkori and Teddlie, 2010). Survey is being conducted in order to collect information in primary data form. Random sampling technique has been chosen to accumulate data related to the concerns of management from large population. It is the method that gives equal chance to each individual of being chosen.
Researcher is assisted to elaborate the descriptive statistics of the data by including the cross tabulation and regression in which it would be facilitates to define the meaning behind the reactions of the participants regarding asked questions. The use of MS-Excel and SPSS software has been taken into consideration to show the graphs and tables in a sophisticated manner.
Ethical consideration assist researcher to pursue adopts effective behaviour for the purpose of completing the research. The appointment has been taken by the researcher on prior basis from the chosen participants for collecting the primary data regarding the issues of the research.
The limitation of the research is covered those factors that are not under control the researcher. The limitations are small size of sample, lack of time availability and improper access of data and sources.
