Another important benefit is that the Internet is a great means of communication.
A few years ago it was rather difficult to imagine that it would be possible to communicate with people from all around the world. Students have the opportunity to speak to the professors from prestigious universities, ask their opinions and extend their range of interests. People have the opportunity to communicate with the people from other countries, find out their customs, traditions and even visit each other.
I think that the Internet makes our world smaller and friendlier. We’ ve got the chance to learn more about the world’s history, our forefathers and gain more knowledge.
In the century of high-developed technologies youth can not imagine their lives without a computer and the Internet. Most young people spend all their free time surfing the Internet and communicating on (via) social networks. Personally, I’m sure there are a huge variety of other activities to take part. First of all, spending hours in front of computer teens go into a virtual reality of sites such as vkontakte and the facebook, and games such as “Line” and “Counter Strike”.
They become addicted.
I think it is much better to live in the real world: meet friends and go for a walk, participate in various school activities and sports, go to the cinema and theatre. Moreover , computer and internet make people lazier. They stay at home instead of going out, they read less , they think less, and even talk less. Besides, if you spend much time such a way, your eyesight will worsen. But there is another point of view. Some people believe that the Internet makes life easier. You can sit behind him all day and do everything you want: know the latest world news, chat with friends from different countries, watch movies and play games online.
This device can replace all other options- they are sure. But I do not agree. If we do everything via the internet, we cannot cope with our problems and deals on our own. If it breaks, it is a tragedy for us – we are not be able to do elementary things :write a report , do the lessons, chat with people. In conclusion I would like to say, that it is a everyone’s own choice how to spend free time. But if you do not want to be lazy, unsociable, and totally dependent on the machine, spend less your free time in front of computer and expand the interests .
