All these food will be locally grown and sustainably processed. This project will also provide and further promote access to different facilities for the tenants and land owners for cycling, walking and creating active and passive recreation through a well organized design for living an active and healthy life style.
The waste management and the efficiency of the energy are widely acknowledged that is considered the best solution for the immediate and the direct reduction to the consumption of the energy. Within this project all the industrial and commercial wastage, food wastages will be managed and treated using various climate neutral methods (Drew, 2015). With the help of innovative wastage minimisation, compilation and recycling procedure the Barangaroo project will be aiming to redirect more than eighty per cent of operational wastages from the commercial and residential buildings from the landfill (Pham, 2015). All such emissions from transporting and processing the wastages from the project will be targeted to zero.
In the case of the project management, there are various things that can be recommended so that they can apply it in a smart way and be in a unique state with the other competitors in the market. There are some of the unique features that have been adopted by the Barangaroo project so that it can be in a good state with the other competitors in the market. Making a solar panel is something that is a unique proposition that will help in conserving the resources and focusing on the renewable source of energy. The cost of the project will also be reduced if this strategy is applied.
In case of the integration of the urban development more advanced ideas and procedures need to be applied. Making the urban development through good ways is the only case to make development and also in the public places. The urban people along with their improving are moving ahead whereas the rural people is lacking far behind. The rural people can get into the urban settlement in search of jobs that will help them in their earnings.
The Barangaroo project can also upgrade the Hickson road and built a metro station which will be helpful for the residents and tenants staying there. The project can also use the appliances that are water efficient. These appliances will be capturing the rainwater, therefore it will use the water for flushing the toilets, irrigating, washing down and suppressing in case of fire. Therefore the project will be able to save a huge amount of water and no drinking water will be wasted.
