The main components and activities that help the proper functioning of Tesco PLC are the operation and the logistics department are the managers that run the entire organisation effectively, then the officials that complete the overall retention of the company right from the packaging to the delivery section then the sales department that intakes all the sales quotient that are important for the running of the system (Blanchard, 1974). This is one of the best features that are claimed by the customers in the product as even they know if the products are ICT based then it would definitely be of better quality for them. In this case Tesco provides all the better ICT facilities to their customers so that they can establish themselves as one of the best in the market to provide better facilities to their customers.
The staff members of Tesco make sure that the logistics department are working effectively in all departments and at the same makes sure that the managers and the other stakeholders or the suppliers maintain a healthy relationship among the officials that helps them to improve the quality of services that are provided to the valuable customers that are with the company and are availing its services since a long time (Blanchard, 1974). The overall concept of performance objectives helps the entire organisation to organise and establish themselves as a unit and praise the officials, managers and the suppliers that are associated with the company. Quality is the most important prospect that is acknowledged among the other managers and officials in order to make sure that they maintain quality of their work and at the same time inspire the other officials of Tesco to maintain quality in terms of products and services that are supplied by the company (Kok & Graves, 2003). Performance objectives of an organisation are the one that influences the goals of the organisation in all respects. Tesco figured out several influences in overcoming the organisational goals as the company provides more stress on the performance objectives than on the organisation goals. As per the officials of the company the objectives that are completely performance based improves the efficiency of the company and helps the customers to get more attracted to the company and its other features that are completely adjacent to the requirement of the company in all prospects in general (Pumfrey, 2002).
