This research paper critically brings out the facts associated with the management issue and its importance. The management is not able to manage the work processes along with the employees effectively. Management issue here, in this case, is related to religion. People coming from different religion from different places of the world in the firm are forced to adapt Christian religion which is blindly followed by James Riady, the vice chairman of the Lippo group and this critically affects the execution of the business process along with it lowers the rate of productivity of the organization too. The management issue of the research is supposed to be worthy as it helps in evaluating the desired thinking and the mentality of the people living in different parts of the world, moreover, an individual should not be forced to adopt any particular religion. Every individual should have their personal independence to believe in their own respective religion which helps in evaluating their mental level too. The structure of the report is presented in a well-synchronized manner highlighting the causes of the management issues and its consequences. The argument presented throughout this research paper is that “Any employee within an organization should not be forced to adopt any religion”. This affects the evaluation of the business processes throughout the concerned market areas concerned.
James Riady is the vice chairman of Lippo Group and the main source of his power is his father Mochtar Riady and undoubted faith in the Christian religion (Ellington, 2015). The issues or the challenges faced by James Riady is the religion, violence, and rivals. This entire are considered to be an issue because to manage the entire team or the organization the leader have to be diversified. Leaders are expected to respect all the religion of the employees equally as their own. Religion and violence are the biggest management issues because of the religious matter employees easily get violent. These issues are considered as the management issue because in the workplace diversity is much needed as there are different types of people from different religions (LIM, 2015). Management of the company is the department that maintains the diversity of the workplace so if this type of issues arises it is called management issues. As it is arises due to the lack of proper management of the organization. The research is worthy for future research because these issues do not dissolve totally, it can submerge for the time being but later on, it will again affect the organization and the leadership of James Riady. These management issues are so violent and powerful that it can destroy the entire organization (Day, 2014). The employees of the organization will stop working and they will start to behave violently which will have a bad impact on the organization. For the company especially for the leaders, it is essential to understand the challenges and solve it before it turns into a negative vibration.
The major issues of the leadership of James Riady were the religion, violent and rivals (Tapsell, 2015). All this occur for the leadership issues of James Riady because he has a blind faith in the Christian religion. The leader always has to be diversified so that the employees of different religion do not feel underestimate. The workplace always has to maintain the diversity to maintain the employees and this all is controlled by the management of the organization (Adner, 2016). Here the contingency theory of management issues is the main reason for the issues that occur in the organization. The theory explains that the managers take all the decision of the company and it is that everyone has to obey it. In another word, it can be said that the theory implies that one size that fits all as per the manager’s point of view. Here the manager or the leader does not consider the situation of the employees rather they force the decision on the employees and for that the management issues arises. In the company of James Riady, almost 3500 people work from all over Asia and every employee has different religion and mentality (Waring, 2016). Here the leader forces the employees to obey their decision and for that the rivals and violent in the organization takes place. The main work of the leader of an organization is to maintain the employees and satisfy the needs of the employees. If the leader of the company is dominant and contingency then it becomes hard for the employees to work in the organization.
If the workplace is not diversified then it becomes difficult for the employees to work in that place. The management of the company has to decide about the benefits of the employees and also they have to keep these challenges out of the organization. It is the failure of the management that the religion and the violence issue are arising in the organization. The leaders of the organization are expected to work the main roles that are planning, staffing, organizing, controlling and coordinating (Hill et al., 2014). If any of the roles of a leader is violated then the issues regarding the management of the company arises. Leaders have to plan the work and the process very smoothly so that all the employees are satisfied with the decision of the leader. The leader of the company have to be perfect with their decision and also they should discuss or take another opinion for the decision making process. The organizing the company is one of the main job roles of the leaders and if they fail in this then the management issues will always is in the organization. The leaders are expected to control all the needs of the organization and the employees so that the organization is free from any type of management issues or challenges. One of the main work of leaders is to communicate with the employees and solve their issues otherwise the management of the company will face the issues like James Riady face in his company (De Paoli, & Ropo, 2015). The theory says that the leaders should think about the benefits of the employees to avoid any kind of challenges in the organization. In any organization, the religion issue is common because people are unable to adjust to the environment and for that, it affects the organization very badly. Always the workplace has to be diversified to stop all the religion issues in the organization. James Riady faces this issue in his organization because he was unaware of the leadership role and also he was a blind follower of the Christian religion and for that, he was unable to create the diversity in his organization. For the employees to listen to their leaders and to work in the peace environment the leaders need to understand their job role in the organization (Marshall, 2013). The management of the company should not imply anything about the employees. They should maintain the employees as well as the organization by their management skill of planning, organizing and controlling (Goddard et al., 2016). All the leaders should follow these rules to avoid the management issues of their organization and to be the best leader of the organization.
The management issues are the major challenges of the organization and to deal with that the leaders need to change their way of handling the team in the organization. James Riady being the blind follower of the Christian religion and for that he wants all his employees to follow that which is creating the big issue in the organization. It is recommended that the workplace should follow the diversity so that all the employees are able to work properly in the organization. It is the main work of the leaders to maintain the employees and satisfy the needs of the employees. If the leader of the company is dominant and contingency then it becomes hard for the employees to work in the organization. So it is highly recommended that the leaders of the company have to be polite and well maintained for the employees of the company. The management of the organization needs to imply the suggestion of the employees before considering any decision. The management of the company should not imply anything about the employees and here the leader is imposing his religion on the employees so this need to be stopped to control the management issue of the organization.

Moreover, adopting one particular religion should not be forced to any of the employees. Furthermore, each of the employees associated with a particular organization should respect region of people coming from diverse culture. Respecting each other’s religion will help in enhancing the effectiveness of the business work processes concerned.
