This particular project is focused to provide team management planning for client “Globex Corporation”. The case study is chosen as “Riverina Agriculture and Lifestyle Show” in this team management planning document. The RALS event is to be conducted within a span of three days in every year for helping agriculture with higher level of innovation and new product showcasing (“Riverina Agriculture and Lifestyle Show”, 2017). To conduct this particular event successfully, client requires resolving some related issues with the ticket sale such as crowd control, delays, and reduction of sales. Crowd in long queue are susceptible to create a chaos and most of the time, major people avoids ticket-booking offline due to long queues at ticket counters (Cairns & Castelli, 2017). At this point, RALS committee appointed Virtucon for replacement of existing manual ticketing system. Following team charter depicts team member details, skills, knowledge requirements, key roles and responsibilities.
“Online Ticket Booking System Project”
Development Team [Description]: The development team is responsible for implementing online and computerized ticket booking system for meeting the requirement desired from RALS committee. As primary activity, the stakeholders should be gathered for forming the team along with appropriate expertise allocation for suitable team performance.

Overview of the Project
In a brief overview, the RALS authority requires development of digital and computerized ticket booking and sale system so that existing manual system can be appropriately replaced. The manual ticket booking system can provide common visitors for purchasing them from RALS event ticket counter and manual system has tendency of causing delays (Levin & Green, 2016). In opening day, the RALS ticket counters can delay in selling tickets, as manual sales procedure is slower; the crowd can slip out without paying ticket cost.
To manage the ticket sales and improving the ticket selling process, the existing ticket booking system should be developed as online. Newly implemented online ticketing system can enable several patrons for accessing tickets from different platforms before event occurrence (“Riverina Agriculture and Lifestyle Show”, 2017). Prompt sale of ticket can be achieved and the tickets can be made available to different stores across different stalls or across different countries as well. In online ticket selling system, people such as different devise users can book tickets within seconds without any delay (McLaughlin & Daspit, 2016). Before the event is organized, the tickets can be sold from several people and pre-booking of tickets can reduce long queues in ticket booking along with without-ticket spectator invasion issue resolving.
Ticket booking options can be considered as based on day or based on people groups; such as single-day pass, two-three day pass, family pass, kids pass, concession pass, and stall holder pass. RALS authority can request for cost estimation planning with budget planning as well to the project stakeholders. The tickets should have QR codes or barcodes to enter through turnstiles that can detect tickets and print them after entry (“Riverina Agriculture and Lifestyle Show”, 2017). Moreover, the online ticket booking system can offer appropriate reporting system with installation for ticket details sharing, people attendance, and media presence.
Team Skills and Knowledge Inventory:
Project Manager: Project manager should be able to schedule tasks and activities appropriately along with managing each stage of the project. Moreover, the project management should apply leadership skills for coordinating with individual team members for assessing their expertise for allocation of activities (Pak, Carden & Kovach, 2016). The project manager should apply proper level of communication process to conduct meeting, perform interaction with authority to report change management, adjustment in time and budget as well.
Software Engineer: Software Engineer should apply proper skills to perform programming in system-level software as embedded systems, operating systems, database management systems, and other applications (Schleyer, Moore & Weaver, 2016). Software Engineers should conduct analysis activities, logical thinking, lateral thinking, attention to detail, and teamwork.
System Analyst: System analyst is responsible for collecting system requirements that are relevant for system development from either client or existing system research report. The system analysts should have key skills as ability to gather and analyze information, proper communication, persuasion, and sensitivity (Harris & Bristow, 2016). Furthermore, they estimate cost and time that should be necessary for conducting the project.
Software Tester: The testers conduct proper procedures to test scripts, macros, analyze results, and they can send their analysis results back to project manager to fix the bugs (Martinelli, Waddell & Rahschulte, 2017). The computerized ticketing system may have major bugs or issues with program code block.
Technical Support: Multiple Technical Support specialists work for hardware manufacturing and suppliers for resolving the business problems come from customers and consumers (Saida et al. 2016; Johnson, 2016). The technical support personnel are known as troubleshooters in IT industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Manager: Project manager should have managing role for individual team member.
Software Engineer: The software engineer should investigate the client requirements and should analyze scenario provided.
System Analyst: The analyst is responsible for analyzing system requirements.
Software Tester: The tester should have testing activity over development life cycle of the system.
Technical Support: The technical support should have supportive role to customers and accompanying consumers.
Team Communications:
Meeting times and Locations: Meeting will be conducted to discuss certain issues that employees and worker faced. The meeting is to be conducted during morning session and evening session only.
Communication Process: As the member details table is mentioned earlier, the contact details will be kept to every team member in the project team.
Team Rules and Expectations:
In an overall, every team member should listen to each other with an open mind, they should share knowledge, information, with benefactors, and team member will take key decisions. Teamwork is most valuable thing while team members are working in a team.
The learning cycle table shows different agendas that could be raised during the project timeline (Shipman et al. 2016). Furthermore, the organizer and scribe roles are divided among the team members so that meeting could be conducted with individual contributions.

The communication plan is prepared with including all members with communication medium, communication agenda, and mode of communication as well. The communication plan includes all elements and team members (Natvig & Stark, 2016). The communication plan makes communication process successful and effective without losing information during development.

As per my experience, I have learnt that understanding of leadership quality is much more important while conducting any project under team. Team management is more dependent over leader and more obviously, team performance is completely dependent on team leader. For leading any project successfully, the team leader has to interact with each team members. Leadership qualities include interaction with members, talk, listen, and come to solution. For leading the members towards the projected outcomes, the leader should follow appropriate planning and necessary steps. Team leader should listen to the team members for knowing their concern and issues. Once team leader had identified team issues, the leadership quality should direct them to appropriate solution.
I think project manager should have managing role for individual team member. Project manager has major responsibilities such as resolving issues among team. Project manager has reporting role towards managing authority. The software engineer should investigate the client requirements and should analyze scenario provided. The software engineer is responsible for determining what solution is required. The analyst is responsible for analyzing system requirements. They will estimate cost and time that will be needed to complete development of the new system. The tester should have testing activity over development life cycle of the system. The software tester will test the intermediate and final product with necessary measures and accounted metrics.
