The current organizational structure has been described through the diagram. The topmost is the managing director who has the support of an individual. 1.3 System Acquisition Method— commercial software, custom software, or ERP
The most likely system acquisition method is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP system provides an updated and continuous view of the core system of the business (Liburd et al., 2014). The main components of the business are tracked by the ERP system such as raw materials, productivity capacity and cash. It also describes the status of the commitments of the business such as the purchase order, payrolls and orders. The data is shared to all the departments which contribute in the data collection method.
The system provides error free production and transactions. This way the system enhances the efficiency of the organization (Hill et al. 2015). The formation of an ERP system is different from the traditional method being used as it requires various hardware and software platforms to come into action. The system uses a database and an information repository system. The ERP system focuses mainly on the back office function which does not deals with directly with the customers. The CRM system dealt directly with the customers. It is an integrated system and it works in real-time (Ranadheera et al. 2013). There is a common database in the system and all the applications indulged are managed by that database only. Thus ERP system is most likely rather than the other two systems.
