Presently the family is living in a two-bedroom flat in Queensland and as Jeff has secured a new job, he wants to relocate with his family to a four-bed room flat in Perth. The actual date for emptying the house that is in Queensland will be around 20th January whereas the new house will be generally commenced on January 27th. The cost that is required for moving to the new city will be around $15,000. In addition to this, all the information that are provided are generally compiled for inspecting as well as for making the necessary changes for meeting the requirements of the family within the assumed budget.

Budget: The cost that is generally needed for relocating the family to Perth from sunshine coast will be assumed to be around $15,000. All the project activities need to be executed within the budget that is sponsored for avoiding the problems as well as issues that mainly occurs due to the rise in the budget of the project.
Time: Time is considered as one of the important aspects for the effective project completion. The project manager generally makes an assumption according to which the entire project of relocation will be done on time so that the children’s can be able to join their school on 31st January and Jeff can start his office in Perth from 5th February successfully. It is quite necessary to proceed as per the assumption because it is quite important for the children of Jeff to
Resource availability: The resources which are mainly required for relocating the family to a new location in Perth and the human resources who are engaged with the project must be present when pre-relocation or post-relocation activities of the project are performed. This criterion of the project is considered to be essential as proper resource availability within the project generally helps in completing the work of the project quite successfully.
The project that reflects on relocation helps in showcasing that Jeff needs to vacate his present house by January 20th however the provided date for the hew apartment inauguration will be on 27th January and as Jeff do not have family or relatives in the city of Perth, the family needs to focus on the commencement of the new apartment successfully. For this, the project planner needs to make some important adjustment are required within the project schedule. The changes that are mainly done in the entire schedule is mainly reflected below:
Adjustment in the time: The project planner mainly aims to finish the commencement of the new apartment as soon as possible such that the Jeff’s family can move to the new location in the city of Perth after vacating their old house in Queensland. As the commencement of the project is assumed to be done by 20th January thus the family of Jeff does not have to stay in hotel and they will be able to properly move .to the new city on time.
Adjustment in the cost: New house commencement will be done within 20th January 2018 as per the assumption that is made and therefore the family will not spend money on the hotel and therefore the money that is needed for hotel expense will get saved. Moreover, it is found that the budget that is generally required for completing relocation will be less as compared to the budget that is generally required as per the initial plan of the project.
