The purpose of the project charter is to develop the project plan for constructing a new recreational facility and playground (Meadowvale Park Playground).The playground project will serve different suburb areas. It will serve as a regional destination for the families for undertaking the leisure activities. The project chart will provide with the information related to project objectives, time and cost estimation. It will provide the authority to the project manager to initiate the project.
The aim of this project is to develop the project plan for constructing a new recreational facility and playground (Meadowvale Park Playground) and complete the project till Easter weekend 2019. The estimated project duration is 12 months and the estimated project budget is $3 billion. The third stage of the project will be undertaken that includes the development of the play landscape that includes aerial, ground and wet play. The approval for the project from the higher management is important in order to begin the project on time. The activities related to the selection of play equipment designer and manufacturer, installation of the play equipment is highly important. The responsibilities will be delegated to the project team as per the skills of the members. The project team will be responsible for completing the tasks related to the third stage of the project, with the help of the available resources and within the estimated time for each of the task of project. The project manager will be responsible for managing the activities or the tasks of the project so that the project can be completed within the time limit. The project manager will make sure to deliver the major deliverable on time. The communication with the project team on the regular basis will help in completing the project on time.
