Desired area of impact: The project area of impact is generally mentioned in various areas that include customer, financial, social, strategy as well as operational. It is identified that the project is mainly required in order to develop online booking system for RAILS, therefore the area as per the priority order  include operational, customer, strategy, social as well as financial.

Project values: Depending on the point of view of RAILS as well as requirements of Globex, the project is mainly expected for bringing faster as well as better value within the organization. The organization wants to improve the system of ticketing by implementing the rostering system within the show. Furthermore, it is identified that the client generally needs faster as well as more efficient in ticket sales as well as management of crowd without delaying the tickets.

  Appropriate metric: It is identified that the metric is mainly selected as:

• Accomplishing all the project activities before the assumed date
• Accomplishing 110% the workload of the project by the end of the month
• The outcome of the project must be helpful in providing proper return of investment

  Appropriate timeframe: The target metric must be gained within the time-period of six months after the entire project is completed properly. The metric of the stakeholder must be properly achieved by the project end so that the performance of the project can be accessed easily. 

 The project scope is to develop online ticket booking as well as sales procedure so that various types of issues as well as challenges like crowd management, delay in queues must be resolved.  It is identified that both planned risk management approaches as well as risk analysis is mainly followed in order to mitigate various types of risks that are associated with the project. The risks or challenges are generally based on different types of assumptions that include:

• The MOV must be properly approved with the help of managing as well as administrative authority
• The project must be completed within the assumed date
• The entire project must be executed successfully within the budget that is provided
• The stakeholders as well as other employees must work appropriate with the new system for completing the project successfully.

Part Two: Define Scope and produce a Scope Management Plan

Risk management Plan:  It is identified that the project faces number of issues as well as challenges, which must be mitigated appropriately by following proper risk mitigation plan. The different types of identified risks are as follows:

Budget Risk: It is found that the project may overrun the budget that is allocated. Thus, it is quite important for the managing authority of the project to consider appropriate contingency planning in order to adjust the project budget appropriately. The risk has catastrophic severity though its likelihood is high.

Timeline risk: It is identified that the project manager may face difficulty in completing the project within the time that is assumed. Thus, it is quite important for the project manager to consider additional slack in order to complete the project within time. The risk has medium severity, as its likelihood is medium. Therefore, it is quite significant to formulate proper mitigation plan in medium priority.

Training requirements: The employees as well as stakeholders of RAILS need proper training in order to handle the new system. Thus, it is found that extra expenses must be spent on this agenda. The risk has medium severity, though its likelihood is low.

Approval of MOV: The MOV may not be approved by the management of the organization, as it is generally dependent on the decision of the higher authority of the organization. Thus, it is quite challenging to meet various needs as well as requirements of time, resource terms as well as money. The project must be started properly by preparing new MOV document. The risk has almost certain severity, though its likelihood is low.

  The statement of quality management is mainly prepared as to develop appropriate booking system for the committee of RAILS in order to provide proper shear quality in context to all the functions that are collected as well as analyzed prior to the initiation phase of the project.

Verification activities of the project are as follows:

• Helps in ensuring that the project follows the strategies as well as policies of the organization
• Helps in checking proper automation
• Helps in ensuring appropriate tools of testing
• Ensuring the testing procedure as per the timeline of the schedule

Validation activities are mentioned below:

• Identification of insider flaws as well as testing bugs
