The project here deals with the repair works, which are supposed to take in the oil company. These repairs are to be done in order to reduce the fine due to environmental issues raised by the company. The project also deals with the availability and throughput at all locations in the project.
This assignment highlights the goals for the project described followed by a brief detail on the case study regarding the stakeholders and the availability. A brief overview of the project is also provided in the assignment.
The goal of the proposed project is to repair the oil containers in the firm in order to reduce the fine that the firm has to pay due to leakage of oil. It deals with surveying all the sites under the firm and repairing all the oil tanks, which are in a bad condition. The goal of the project is also to provide revenue streams and continuity of supply to fuel outlets.
The major goal is to bring the Australian storage facility to a standard removing all the damaged parts and renewing them (Nolan 2014). The project aims at repairing all the three tanks used for oil storage keeping the location of the site in mind. This will help to reduce the environmental fine that the firm has to pay due to leakage of oil in the soil nearby.
While setting the goals, a milestone has to be set up in order to achieve the proposed goals at relevant time (Semple 2014). Milestone of a project is defined as the life cycle of the project, which helps to keep a track of all the phases of the project. the milestone set for the proposed project has been shown through the table below.

In-scopes of the project
Out-scopes of the project
The following methods and processes were carried out during the determination of scope of the proposed project
Formation of the context diagram of the project- First of all the analysis of the site has to be done and then the requirements for the repairing of the tanks have to be determined. The repairing needed for all the task has to be set and strategies have to made in order to meet those requirements (Tomlinson 2017). The location of the site also has to be kept in mind while setting the requirements for the repair of the tanks as the location of the site plays a vital role in any procedure that the site undergoes. For this particular site, the site is of triangular-tapered shape and it is bound by a dead-end road at one side (Centner and Petetin 2015). On the other side, which is the longest of all the sides, is covered by the loading docks all over. Small Specialist Company of oil distribution binds the final side of the site.
Performing surveys- the firm and the circumstances have to be surveyed for the proper formation of the scope of the proposed project.
Setting up of interviews of the delegates- all the delegates and workers needs to be asked queries regarding the problems in order to understand the situation deeply.
Asking the delegates of the company for suggestions- the mangers of the organization need to give suggestions for the better planning and implementation of the scopes of the project (Guerin 2014).
Decision making technique- the decision making technique has to be enhanced by taking help of the higher delegates in order to make best decisions.

The service is to reduce all the environment fines being given by the company due to the leakage of oil tanks. The objective of the project is to control the amount of fine. For this, the tanks gas to be repaired so that the leakage can be prevented. The project is going to affect the site as repairing needs to be done at the site. Repairing has to be done in all the three tanks at the site as all the three tanks are very old and are damaged.. The management of all these requirements for the site has to be done in order to meet the requirements of the project.
Overview of the Case Study project’s life cycle or methodology and overall process
The processes of project management are discussed below
Phase management: The numerous phases of the project are managed very efficiently and effectively.
Planning: The planning of the project are done in order to have a detailed knowledge about the project before its implementation (Brown, Evans and Carpenter 2016).
Control:control measures must be followed by the project to attract more number of customers and control the challenges of the project.
Team Management: management team of the project must manage and assign proper works to appropriate people in order for effective completion of the project (Love et al. 2014).
Communication: effective communication plays a major role in success of any project.
Procurement: outsourcing is done by the organization in order to make the work more effective. Waterfall methodology will be utilized in order to repair the tanks and other repairing in the site (Sippel et al. 2015).
Requirement specification: requirements of the project must be specialized in order to reach the goals effectively (Robinson 2014).
Design: the design needs to be made for proceeding with the project.
Construction: tank and infrastructure of the company is constructed in order to reduce and minimize the financial issues plus the challenges.
Integration: investigation of integration in order to reach proposed goal
Testing: testing needs to be done in order to run the project effectively (Loh and Loh 2016).
Maintenance: maintenance must be analyzed
