The present study is based on preparation of proposal for new tourism business for the co-venture to provide them assurance that they can earn sufficient returns.
Start-up of tourism business requires many crucial steps such as market research, developing plan and executing the same in ethical and legal manner. Our business Joyful Travels provides day and night tours in various Australian cities, multiday trips and adventurous tours like camping, tracking, beach games, boating and river rafting. So these are following two ventures:
This service will be facilitated with other all necessary activities such as accommodation, food, photography, travel and medi-care to consider all needs of customers. Lawfully, managerial authorities interested in starting tourism business will ensure applying and receiving of appropriate terms and licenses. It is because; there is a range of regulation registration and licensing which will oversees the industry of tourism, especially for the industries who take visitors to sensitive areas and national parks.
Trips we provide will be adventurous and will be light on the pocket. Our fully trained and guided tours will execute full activities and adventures as we guarantee the best either you choose one day or a complete adventure tour. Proposed business will pick up their customers from airport, and help in checking into the hotels and will introduce the guest to other groups.
Visitors will be taken to jet boating, they will get Private Sydney Harbor Cruise and on Bondi Beach they can get their tan on, dolphin shows, can party on the best bars of Sydney, sand boarding, surfing learning, all night tour to Port Stephens and lots and lots more.

Visitors are the first priority and responsibility of the business. Proposed Business will take care of everything like where visitors want to go in Australia. They will also help in sorting visa, and the bank of Aussie Account will register customer in Medicare so that they can get free health services in Australia and will provided a Aussie SIM card and Tax File Number.
In addition to, visitors will also get membership of a year to the business and Jobs Program and will assist visitors in planning and sorting their travelling in Australia. Further, our tourism agency is highly concerned towards environmental factors as it is very important to take care of our environment, people, economy of place where we travel, as the mother earth is a very beautiful place and it is responsibility of every creature to maintain it in that way.
Market research helps in providing industry realizing, considering the reliability of business ideas, determining key factors that can influence business success. Regulations of tourism industry are designed in such a way to secure business, guests and society by implementing secured and accountable practices. From the study done by Anderson, (2010) it was analyzed that tourists in Australia love to go for the adventure sport. Weather in country is perfect for different kinds of sports as tourists love to try deep sea diving, paragliding’s, trekking and other such kind of activities. Australian coral reef is also very popular which also attracts large number of tourists as it gives them the astonishing adventure of beauty and nature (Buckley, 2012). Further, global market till 2020 is expected to be reach at $9.5 billion.

Other than that, cruises of Australia are world famous because of the experience they provide to people in terms of ride, luxury, fun, dance, etc. Tourists in Australia loved to found these experiences as a part of their tour. Some part of the Australia is desert and because of that people also have craze for desert sport as a part of tourism and this sport is becoming popular day by day. However as per Hoque, (2010) there are some people who like to visit different churches and historical places too but the population of these kinds of tourist is very limited.
It was also analyzed by Gerritsen, (2014) that tourists in Australia strive for all the end to end service which is not provided to them in terms of pick up, visa applications, Sim card, tax file, free medical care, etc. These are currently not provided by one company all together and tourists have to travel from one place to other to avail services.
According to Thomson (2016), demands for all these services are increasing in Australian Tourism industry and it is very necessary to solve them.
The business plan that we have created for our Tours and Travel Company Joyful Travels, fulfill all the needs and demands of tourists in Australia. It has been made by keeping in mind the modern needs of tourists which is to try different kinds of adventure sports. Tourism plans are budget friendly and the staff which we have is fully trained and well aware of every bit of adventure sports. We think investing in us will be a very profitable for investors as because of end to end services in this field will attract lots of customers towards us and we will try our best to fulfill all their needs and demands. We will try our best to provide proper return on investment as soon as possible. We also have plans to expand our services in the field more and more so that the company can increase its customer base with the increase of profits. We also have great plans to advertise our business by sponsoring various sports and events in Australia so that people can know about us. Other than that we are also creating different promotion plans to be launched on social media as it will help us to attract our target customer which is youth.
We also justify the investment as the team which we are working with is fully committed and will work very hard to reach all the goals and objective of the company. The goal of the company is to make experience of people worth remembering so that they can use the services again.
Present study provide learning of development of viable business ideas by considering market opportunities. This module was highly beneficial and significant part of entire course work as it was inclusive of key learnings such as market analysis, presenting business plan and forming justified business strategies (Huyton, 2010). With this module, I was able to understand mere idea is not sufficient to develop business as it cannot attract investors for investment. It is because; ideas does not ensure success but a viable business plan does. Thus in this assignment we had prepared proposal by considering tourism industry facts and preferences of customers.
Other primary learning from this assignment is tactics needed to win trust of investors as they are trusting us with their money. This learning is significant in practical life because businesses have limited sources but they have to make optimum utilisation of these resources to achieve expected aims and objectives (Pickering, 2013). Due to this factor, prior to developing any business plan, we are required to consider market facts to determine trend and expectations of customers in order to mould business plan accordingly. With this approach, business services and products will be as per demand in market and consequently business will be able to earn good returns and can attain market growth and opportunities. In addition to this, this module provide learning for presentation of ideas to investing parties by making proposal attractive by considering its key advantages (Northcote, 2010). With this learning, I will be able to convince investors in near future.
