Professional Development Plan (PDP) is a part of identifying the things for personal development and professional development. There are so many activities for achieving that goal, such as reflection. It is a part of work-based learning. These activities and learning are used for motivation of an employee. There are few skills, which makes a professional person perfect for their work. These skills are compulsory for a professional person. There are so many activities for development of these skills in a person at personal level as well as professional level (Bolton, 2010).

In the professional carrier, these things are must for an employee. They are helpful for the overall growth of an employee in their professional carrier.
Critical thinking is best skill for an employee as well as a person. It is a strong capability of a person for handing different situations, and it is like team-working skill in which all the decisions has taken properly for that particular situation. There are some few changes are required in me, which are decision making, different points of view (Fook, 2010). I am having team working skill, which makes me better than others. I am having experiences from different things, such as university projects, restaurant, and social activities. I want to more improvement in the relationship building at my workplace.
I also learnt about the gaining attention from others, when it required. I also express myself in front of different people nearby me. There is a way to share your knowledge with your colleagues, so they can also contribute their thoughts with us. Few people are not share their ideas and working style, because of few restriction on them self. I am good in problem solving activities and in real life; I take proper decision for a problem. I developed this skill from my experiences from different places, such as university, restaurant and social things. Still, I feel that few changes are required in me.
Effective communication is a required thing for a professional person (Lawrence-Wilkes & Ashmore, 2014). I will improve my skills using ICT packages. It will also useful for my work. Presentation and demonstration is also beneficial for the growth of my skills. Professional skills are also developing by the positive attitude. Few things are also changed and maintain according to feedback of your work at workplaces. It is a reason for make your performance better. If anyone required extra help for improvement of professional skills should done for betterment. Professional person should be a good planner and a time manger. There are few changes always required in skill time to time for appropriate situations. Daily plan is also a necessary task to handle other things, which are related to the work (Lee, 2010).
Employee should be an independent learner and it is good for them. There are so many skills can develop from the research about different things. I improve my skills as doing multitasking at my work place as well as in daily life. Innovative and critical thinking is also helpful for the handling of different situations in professional life. Self-awareness is also helpful for creating different skills in a person. It is a process of experiencing different situations and learns from them. A person motivate from self-awareness. There are so many models and cycles for reflection, which are coming from experiences and learning (Little, 2012). It is also develop transferrable skills, which are out of the curriculum. It is also helpful for working in the different environment of different organizations. It is also required that a good knowledge of your subject matters a lot in organization. It will develop using practices in your selected areas. It is also required improvement day by day. There are few things, which change in the knowledge of particular area. Subject knowledge is making a person different form others. Information technology is also having a key role in enhancing different skills. There are so many things, which are not possible without IT (Malloch, et al., 2010).
I learnt so many things form SomDoc Walk-in Clinic. I learnt about motivation during working there as an employee. There are so many problems because of lack of motivation, such as communication problem, Poor performance and low morale.
Professional carrier is requires different things for the stability in the organization. I learnt so many things from the work-based learning’s, and Professional Development Plan. There were so many things, which are helpful for developing of different skills. There are few things, which enhance professional skills in a person, such as self-awareness. I learnt about self-analysis and it is a good practice for the professional person. There are few criteria for self-analysis, which are helping understanding about the strength and weakness in our self. I have different skills already in me, such as planning, time management and organization of work. Being a student, I learn about the different things, which makes me perfect in my study. Community study are useful for the handling the different phases of professional life (Marshall, 2018).
As a team member of my project group, I lead all the group members and managing them for completing the given task within the deadline. I learnt different things form placement activity, such as adaptability, contributing, Reliability and Contributing. All these things are beneficial for me and all things are motivate me to doing different work. I have few weaknesses, which I know after self-assessment process, such as less academic skills, unhealthy, less teamwork. For removing these weaknesses, I want to start working with some organization. I have to know about the coordination and perfection in this area. Reflective writing is beneficial for the critical thinking (Ortlipp, 2008).
There are few things, which make a person professionally fit, such as planner, and thinker. It is also good for business as well as carrier planning. Different skills are requires for managing an organization. A creative person is always helps in different works. They change the processes of an organization from their brilliant ideas. In case of restaurant business, they can changes menu and attract the customers with their styles and arrangements. Critical thinking is making person different form others (Ossa, et al., 2014).
I will use my skills for handling my work in the organization. Positive attitude is my strength and it will provide a power to me for completing a task at my work place. I also handled the different situation with the help of time management. I learnt different things and they are helpful for developing different things in me. I was not a good planner, but from self-awareness, I know about the different skills of me. Reflection is best part of a module, which makes a person different using their personal skills (Pretorious & Ford, 2016).
There are few improvements are required in me for changing my skills for professional life. I learnt basic skills from my learning and practices. I also improve my personal skills, which makes me more professional for my work. Planning is a best exercise for a professional person, which are helpful for creating new skills (Sangster, 2017).
I used my skills in placement activity. There was few things must require for the clear the basic criteria of the placement companies. I had few experiences of these types of activities. I also learnt about placements from Internet. There were few steps to select in an organization. There are different posts for me, just like assistant manager, designer, and many more. I was so excited for the placement activity. They have different procedures for section in the organization. It was not simple process to select into organization. They were checked different skills through the many activities and interviews. Reflection is necessary for the professional development (Steh & Saric, 2017).
I had a great experience from that placement activity. It was a platform to improve myself for future placements. I had many skills in me, such as communication, leader, researcher, and innovator. My effective communication skill is so useful for motivate me to participated in all the activities. I also want to know about the reality of the different things, which are so interesting. I learnt so many things for that placement session. That was learning for me, and it was useful in my present for selection of organization. Critical thinking is skill in a professional person, which are helpful for the handling different situation (Taylor, 2017).
I start so many new things in my life for making my professional life better. One of my skills is interaction with the new softwares and firmware’s. They are beneficial for enhancing the knowledge in a particular field. There are few things, which are necessary for upgradation of the skills. One of them is knowledge about the softwares and applications of different systems (Thompson & van Vliet, 2018).
Present era is totally based on the Information Technology. There is a huge role of IT in the progress of an organization. Maximum of organizations are using the Management Information System for handling different operations and services of an origination. I learnt about the creative thinking in that placement module. It has so many tasks, which has to complete within a time. I gave some test and they required a problem-solving skill for resolving problems. I put my efforts in those tasks and I cleared them before time limit (Tonna, et al., 2017).
There was an essay writing activity in the placement activity. It was a reflective essay. I used my skills and wrote an essay n reflection. The interviewer appreciated it at the time of interview. There was an activity based on teamwork. We are selected in different groups and we had to complete given task within a time limit. I was leader of my group. We had to design few logical concepts for resolving daily life problems. We designed a traffic control system, which save time and cost of so many people. We won that activity in that placement module.
At the last, I faced two interviews, first was technical interview and second was Human Resources (HR) interview. Both are so tough for me that time. However, I cracked both of interviews. There were so many questions from my academic study and personal life. Interviewers were so happy form my performance in the interview.
All the organizations are adhering the technologies for their work as well as handling different functions of organization. Therefore, it is a necessary thing as an employee that they must know about different softwares. Information systems are helpful for making work easier. Being a professional person all the things are so necessary for handling different works smartly. All the skills are used to compete your competent. All the theoretical concepts are converted into the practical approaches, which makes your work different from others (Yang, 2009).
All the processes were interlinked and they are useful for organization’s processes. Maximum of processes are created for checking the skills of students. They were designed for checking the student’s skills in that situations, because in future those conditions will be occur in front of them. I learnt all the things from that placement module and used those entire things in my current working. Professional skills are also beneficial for the personal life. I changed myself from those skills, such as daily workout, and social. Social and professional behavior of a person is based on their skills. SomDoc is a clinic in West London. I leant so many things from that experience. There are different strategies for handling some weakness of employees and organizations. A good organization is always focusing on the motivation of employees. It will help them for improvement in their performance. A best way for resolving these problems is talking with staff for understanding their problems.
