I have learned that artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector is the use of algorithm and software that is proximate to the cognition of human in the assessment of complex medical information. In addition, I have pointed out that AI is the competency to computer algorithms, which is proximate to the conclusion in spite of individual input. This learning experience would be utilized by me to make a career in the healthcare industry. I have also developed my understanding that artificial intelligence can aid to avoid the shortage of qualified clinical employees by taking over some of the diagnostic responsibilities usually distribute to humans. I have pointed out that artificial intelligence may aid to procedure routine requests from the inbox such as result notification and medication refills (Humphries, 2017). This artificial intelligence would be used by me to prioritize the tasks that highly require focusing, involved landman and creating an easy procedure for users to work via their to-do lists. This learning would be beneficial for making further investigation in the future. I have generated my knowledge that artificial intelligence helps to enable virtual biopsies and making an advance and innovative field of radiomics. This would be utilized by me to emphasize the harnessing image-based algorithms and differentiate the phenotypes and genetic properties of tumors. Thus, it helps to develop my career in the healthcare industry. I have also increased my awareness about the ways of using AI in the healthcare sector (Alvesson & Sköldberg, 2017). In this way, I have observed that AI can screen via slides and direct us to the right thing to identify the essential and unimportant things. This learning experience has increased my efficiency for using the pathologist and gaining the time worth they spend for each holder. Thus, this learning experience has developed my technical skills. Earlier this research, I have a lack of understanding about the role of artificial intelligence,however, after the research, I have generated my awareness about the role of artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry.
I have also developed my knowledge about the pros of using AI in the healthcare industry. In this way, I have gained my experience that AI can enhance productivity by addressing the characteristics of interest in slides before reviewing the information via human clinician. This experience would be exercised by me during the implementation of AI.
In this research, I would be able to develop my depth-understanding regarding the use of artificial intelligence. Since, I have created my knowledge that artificial intelligence helps in using the next generation radiology technology that is accurate and detailed enough. It would be beneficial for me to replace the requirement for tissue samples in certain cases. I would also utilize this learning to get personal and professional growth (Humphries, 2017).
This investigation has improved my learning about the research questions. In this way, I have learned that there are different question used to answering the research questions. It would enable me tosolve the overall research issues. During this research, I have generated my knowledge about the research methodology. I have pointed out that research methodology is used to systematically pool the information. In this way, I have generated my knowledge about the data collection method, data analysis methods, Research design, and resources. This aspect would be used by me to make further research in the future. However, I faced challenged because some of my team memberswere not supportive and they focus on creating conflicting rather than focusing on research. I have also learned that research design is used to complete the aim and objectives in a systematic way. It is also observed that there are certain types of research design such as qualitative, quantitative and mixed research design. I have gained my knowledge that qualitative research design is used to collect theoretical information regarding the role of artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry. I have also created my understanding of the quantitative research design. In such a way, I have pointed out that quantitative research design is used to capture the numeric information associated with the research problems. Throughout this research, I have built my knowledge about the data collection method. In this way, I have learned that data is collected through the primary and secondary data collection methods (Alvesson&Sköldberg, 2017). This learning experience would be applied by me to collect the data in a feasible way. During this research, I have increased my knowledge of the different sources of primary and secondary data collection method. In this way, I have observed that primary data is gathered via different sources such as survey through questionnaire and interview, Along with this, I have created my awareness about the sources of collection the secondary information such as literature review. I have noticed that primary data providereliable and valid data. However, at the same time, I have learned that secondary data gathering technique will take less time and provides authentic information. Throughout this investigation, I have created my knowledge about the sampling. In this way, I have observed that sampling is used to choose the sample from a large number of population. I have also enhanced my learning about the probability sampling method. In this way, I have learned that probability sampling aids to decline the possibility of biases from research due to random selection. During the selection of the sample, I faced difficulties in terms of choosing the sample as I have a lack of understanding regarding different sampling techniques. However, my supervisor was supportive that helps me to choose the sample via a feasible technique.
This research is beneficial for me to comprehend the data analysis technique. In this way, I have learned that pooled data from this research will be assessed through statistical data analysis technique. It is pointed out that MS-excel software is used to present the pooled information through different tables and bar graphs, pie chart, and column diagram. This research would be beneficial for me to assess the pooled data in further research (Ledford & Gast, 2018).
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that this research has developed my understanding of the role of artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry. It has also gained my insight about the problem statement and research methodology. This research has built my research and technical skills. I have also created my knowledge regarding the data collection method and data analysis methods that would helpto me to systematically meet the aim and objectives of the research.
