Qualitative research design will be helpful for me to develop a new product as I am going to study about solar panels tracking systems which particularly useful in order to come up with this new product (Maxwell,2012). This research will also help me to determine whether the product is going to be viable.
The analysis for qualitative would involve:
The research will also help to recommend a final course of action on which product version should be launched. Qualitative research will be also helpful for me on testing specific hypotheses about my charging system. It will also give me a good insight in to the characteristics of my target market. That’s why I intend to conduct quantitative research Bradshaw et al 2010.
I will break down the information through quantitative research utilizing graphic insights including recurrence tables, mode and middle information. This will help me comprehend the information gathered to draw derivations. Information organization will be helpful to comprehend the information gathered.
I strongly feel that the study of both systems (tracking and charging) will give me a good foundation for making the right value selection towards the energy consumed for the costumer.
For this type of Photovoltaic cells system, a number of different components will be used to design and build this system Messenger et al 2017. The table below shows the required tools for this project.

I started to do some research about the project that interest me so I can start gathering some idea about the good way to start writing my proposal.

I am planning to prepare for my presentation so I can get a feedback about my project and check if there are any possibilities to make it better.
What major problem you may have encountered during the previous week:
The major challenge which I encountered during the previous week was insufficient time and resources which were to enable me carry out a detailed research about solar panels tracking systems.
Week 4
What you have done with regard to your Proposal in the last seven days:
I have already finished most of my research about the project that interested me so and started the writing the first steps for my proposal.
What you plan to do in the next seven days:
I am planning to check which parts and component that I need in order to build up the model device also where can I buy them or weather if it’s available in the technician room once I am done I will be able to write down my items in my proposal
What major problem you may have encountered during the previous week:
The major challenge I encountered in the previous week was, Inaccessibility to books and other materials which contain information about solar panels tracking systems, which made it difficult for me to access some important information about solar panels tracking systems
Week 5
What you have done with regard to your Proposal in the last seven days:
I have finished writing my proposal.
What you plan to do in the next seven days:
My plan is to find out the availabilities of the components from the technician room and order the parts needed from my supervisor so i can start assembling the prototype.
What major problem you may have encountered during the previous week:
The main problem is coming up with an innovation idea about solar energy trying to figure out a way to combine the charging circuits and the control circuit together as i am going to be using Arduino Application and Altium Designer in order to create and develop more on it.
Week 6
What you have done with regard to your Proposal in the last seven days:
I have double check my final proposal.
What you plan to do in the next seven days:
I am going to order my component online
What major problem you may have encountered during the previous week:
It was a bit challenging for me to find out this new idea as it’s going to be smart solar tracker using Adriano programming application and the charging circuit using a solar panel of approximately 7.2 Watts as an input and 12V as an output.
Week 7
What you have done with regard to your Proposal in the last seven days:
The check is in progress. .
What you plan to do in the next seven days:
To go back to the supervisor with more research about the good way that we can use in order to make the output voltage of the charger circuit steady.
What major problem you may have encountered during the previous week:
It was a bit challenging for me to find out that good way which, we can use to control the output voltage. It’s (MPPT) the maximum power point tracking. This requires more calculation.
