This will be achieved through producing and implementing a Change Management Plan and a Communications Plan within a simulated business environment, FitLife.
This assessment is based on the following simulation:
You will complete a number of tasks in developing a change process, implementing and critically evaluating its outcomes. These tasks will be based on your role of Business Change Management Officer (BCMO) in a simulation for FitLife, an organisation that is a chain of fitness and health clubs in Australia.
To do this case study, you will require to complete a number of tasks referring to the following resources:
FitLife’s policy and procedures related to risk management.
FitLife’s policy and procedures related to recruiting and selecting new staff members. FitLife’s internal communications policy and procedures when engaging in internal communication practices amongst staff members.

In this assessment you will undertake a number of tasks associated with developing a change process, implementing and critically evaluating its outcomes for a health and fitness organisation, FitLife, in accordance to the strategic review the company has recently conducted through an external marketing agency named Statistica Australian Marketing Research Agency (SAMRA).
The focus is on producing and evaluating a Change Management Plan that is based on the following actions:
Task 1: Identify Change Issues
1.1 Identify strategic change needs through an analysis of organisational objectives

Change management cycle is a long term evaluation process that ensures the sustainable and effective implementation of organized changed which can increase the productivity and profitability of the organization. Each or every stapes of this change management cycle has to be developed considering the potential incorporation of the organizations for any further occasional obstacles or risks.

Task 3: Deliver the Communications Plan
This task continues to build on the information gathered from the other assessment tasks. It requires you to prepare and conduct two meetings with two FitLife stakeholders to embed the roll out of the change management project.

Further, employees might also think that such change will not going to last in the organization hence, do not accept such changes within the organization. The risk control measure will be providing positive effects and examples of the introduced change in the career of the employee. Through this process, he or she will be able to understand the effectiveness of the change and might agree to take active part in the change management process.

It might take 1 to 2 weeks as employees might resist the new changed process in their organization.

Leadership It is another risk factor as lack of effective leadership disrupts the process of change and employees become unaware of the successful nature of the change management process. To control the risk, effect leadership should be included in the organization so that effective process can be carried out. It can be measured by the number of employee who become aware of the process and accepted the changed process.
