In any business organization a team is formed by grouping multiple individuals from same of multiple disciplines that shares similar goal and purpose. Similarly, the company F&B Marina Bay Sands which is mainly a resort near the marina bay and is one of the most expensive casino properties in the world. Being one of the largest resorts with more than 2500 rooms and other amenities for the customers it requires a large number of teams that can efficiently and effectively carry out the routine operations in different departments in the resort. The team performs different activities while coordinating with each other to achieve a predetermined objective (Miller, 2015). This project is about building a team in which a group of differently skilled people into a cohesive team for the selected business organization, F&B Marina Bay Sands Singapore.
The following report consist of discussion about the project scope, its objectives, deliverables, limits as well as activities or tasks that are prioritized as per their importance. In addition to that, the WBS or the work break down structure, cost to implement the project are also provided in this project.
For this team building project for the given organization following are the primary objectives that are intended to be achieved. This objectives are briefly discussed in the following part of this report.
Collaboration: One of the most important elements that is to be achieved through this project is to have a great degree of collaboration between the team members (Dyer & Dyer, 2013). The degree of collaboration between the team members assigned to a certain project or task can affect the success of the project. Consequently the productivity and the successes of the company.
Problem solving: Another important objective of this project is to have efficient communication between the team so that they can coordinate with each other effectively to achieve the desired results from a certain activities (Miller, 2015).
Making vision: Through the project, it will help the team to conceptualize bigger picture about a activity or a task and how that task or small project is going to be contribute in the overall productivity of the organization i.e. F&B Marina Bay Sands Singapore.
Lean Thinking And Conflict resolution: This objective is important to achieve through this project as it will help the development of the team that enable the team members to optimally utilize the resources so that the wastage of the resources can be avoided. Moreover, this project will help the team to resolve the conflicts which are obvious in case of any team (Burke, 2013). In this way this project will enhance the performance of the team. As the project comprises three teams each having their own operational departments and thus have the requirement of different types of trying that will improve their efficiency. Therefore, combining the three teams in a single project helps the team members to acquire the skill of conflict resolution whether it is inside their team or among the individuals in the total project.
There are mainly 4 mile stones for this project which are,
Acquiring the team members for the development of the team.
Defining the responsibilities for each team members
Forming three different teams for different departments of the organization (each time having 30 team members).
Providing training to the team members to get better performance as per their role.
Evaluation of their performance
As the project consist of training of the team members and informing the different stakeholders of the project thus it is suggested to develop and deploy a website that will be accessible by the team members, stakeholders and the project owner to understand the evaluate the progress of the project (Burke, 2013).
The team members will refer the site to access the training material that are proposed to use in training process of the team members.

This team development project will help in enhancing the existing skills and technical knowledge of the developed team to significantly improve the likelihood of the achievement of the business objectives of the business organization with regards to reduction in the related costs, enhancing quality and lessening the period to complete a certain task. In addition to that it will also help in enhancing the personal recognition and internal agreements between the different team members to improve confidence, diminish the number of conflicts in between, and enhance profitability of the organization. Setting up a dynamic team or group of people with different skills to enhance camaraderie and collaboration between different departments to add to better learning and expertise sharing in the organization.
