Main objective of this paper is evaluation of the impact of an emerging technology- cloud computing on the business process of an e-commerce company. The discussion covers the impact of the digital disruptions of the company and the issues faced by the company due to the digital disruption. The opportunities and the challenges due to this digital disruption with the stakeholders of the company are also evaluated in the context of this discussion. The recommendations and conclusion are made on the basis of the findings from the situational analysis.

The selected technology for the discussion is the cloud technology which is also known as cloud computing. Implementation of cloud computing has opened up for new technology for storing the data. Apart from that this technology is providing the organization to large amount of data along with the security. The e-Commerce organizations like Amazon are adopting the use of the cloud computing for the storing of the data for the organizations(Al-Jaberi, Mohamed and Al-Jaroodi 2015).
On basis of the requirements the cloud storage offers different deployment system. The security and the access various for different deployment system. In the public cloud the access of the information can be done by any users of the cloud whereas in the private cloud the access is restricted among certain persons. The implementation of hybrid cloud allows the usage of the public and private cloud simultaneously. This enhances the security of the data and information.
